BASTION 2.0 IS HERE, like the video if you enjoyed it! We've got another video coming out real soon that covers the new server browser and game lobby creator (including ALL of the new settings!). Stay tuned... Patch notes in the description btw! much love /Mysca
I don't see any tremendous buff here. Armor removed from tank configuration is a strong nerf. Repair as a resource is halfway nerf compensated by being able to do that in motion. 35% less damage in turret form doesn't give the feeling to be less suicidal". I don't see bastion bringing anything better than before to a meta that already dislikes it.
meme queen nah dude a normal soldier main can never use mccree the difficulty gap is just too much soldier is just spraying ur gun while mccree is all about that aim
He feels like an actual hero now. Nothing was interesting about him and he was synonymous with negative feelings lol. I actually wanna try learning him now
Bastion was only synonymous with negative feelings because his sentry mode. His sentry mode was so powerful at killing people that it pissed people off because no one likes getting murdered by some camper in a corner. I utterly find bastion disgusting because of that -- but if these changes go through and he is more in his recon state then sentry. My ill will is already diminishing.
Necromancy For Kids or was a good decision. People just have a fucking stick up their ass because they think it's op like every single damn thing. Look at what they did with sombra.
McCree can shred tanks already. I completely destroy tanks currently and even did in the tank era -- with the OP d.va. I even beat her in one on one fights with no health pack
"Due to stability issues, however, we are temporarily bringing the PTR offline in order to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve the problems players were experiencing with logging in and finding games. We don't have an ETA to share right now as to when the PTR will be online again, but we'll be sure to provide updates in this thread as they become available." from the official blizzard forum
Aside from Bastion being a giant hitbox I always thought recon mode was perfectly workable. Aside form the smaller magazine his recon gun feels just as strong as 76's rifle with a tiny bit less spread in full-auto.
Now we're gonna see a bunch of plebs who "always played bastion" like with symmetra as a bastion main this upsets me because i want to feel special. i dont want him to become "mainstream" or "apart of the meta".
Keep in mind that's only while in sentry mode. He still can headshot in his recon mode. They basically made the difficult part of bastion a lot easier with these changes.
Not really. If it stayed he would be too good. And then people will complain about him being too op and he'll get nerfed to the ground and will never be played again.
Only for Sentry mode and that is only if you play him in sentry mode is it a nerf. Sentry mode was cancerous anyway and only scum use bastion and because of that mode. What this is doing is making his primary mode recon. Which means bastion be more mobile and frankly less cancerous already
As a Bastion man, I think they did *okay*. Out of competitive, he can be a real nuisance if he has the high ground, so they got rid of his head shots and increased spread. But in competitive, they buffed him in all the right places. You win this time Blizzard *This time*
zellski1234 However his Recon Mode's decreased spread makes him good against squishes. Overall he is way more flexible. But yah getting rid of headshots in turkey mode might be a problem.
Nathan Enzor I am just stating the nerf not the buffs and the only nerfs are no headshot and permanent spread in sentry mode. The buffs are reduced spread in recon reduced damage while transformed A larger clip And the change is the healing which could be better or worst.
Apparently these changes were made to make Bastion more of a tank killer and shield breaker. I don't know who thought these changes were needed because he does a damn good job at that already. Half a mag is enough to take down a Rienhardt shield and then about 20 bullets or less to kill him. If you are able to constantly pull off headshots that makes you even better at annihilating tanks. The healing buff, mag increase, and configuration time are all good so I'm not complaining about that. I just don't like the removal of the headshot multiplier and extra armor in tank mode.
To be fair, what you don't want is a Bastion meta with Bastion in his current form. Right now, a charging Reinhardt will die in about 1.5 seconds if Bastion aims for the head. With no critical damage, Bastion only does 200 dps, meaning that Rein will be able to live for 2.5 seconds- the extra second makes Rein a hard counter to a poorly positioned Bastion, allowing him to just charge kill him. But if a Bastion positions himself in a place safe from Rein or Roadhog's hook, he will be too far away to do any real damage thanks to the massive accuracy nerf. Sentry mode will only really be for point blank defense- where he is vulnerable to many of his counters- or for barrier breaking when it comes to Rein shields. A meta with the new Bastion would actually be fairly balanced, since while he is in sentry mode he will be completely unable to reliably damage Pharah, Soldier, or any sniper at long range, rendering him useless at almost any range. His recon mode will be strong at the longer ranges now, similar to if not more powerful than Soldier's gun, but that will actually require skill, unlike his current turret form that murders everything at almost any range.
***** ikr. like Blizz, what the fuck happend with your "slow buffing" process like you fcking do with Sombra. now this bastardly turret is fcking broken.
K1lr, he is patched, His sentry mode was who fucked most people, cause of the range and headshots, but now it doesn't rape everyone. And his recon was underpowered compared to other heroes in attack and defence
The only thing I'm worried about is the Ion Clad ability when in turret mode. Its gonna take more coordination to take down Bastion now that his defence in turret mode has been increased. His self heal is ok as long as its timer is balanced. All in all I feel like this is ok, just his added defence that worries me.
Drazatis I'm not sure, yes he has a nerf to his overall potential damage but from the footage shown, bastion still looks like he could shred any flanker that wishes to take him down. That's not including the potential of an organised team.
It's going to take more time to do anything in general with this Bastion. His changes literally only slow the game down without even making him more viable. It just takes longer to both kill him and kill things with him.
A sentry or tank mode bastion with a pocket Ana will be no joke. Seriously. When he self heals his turret mode isn't that big a deal because he can't fire, but if he has a healer juicing him then he will both be very hard to burst down and have massive damage output. I means he is going to need to be focus fired by probably more than two high end DPS characters in order to take him out if he has heals and I don't know many DPS heroes that are going to be able to take on a turret mode bastion head on.
the dmg done to rein shield in sentry mode hasn't been nurfed, so i think we will see him destroying shield in sentry mode and getting kills in recon mode
I'm really excited about these changes. Recon won't be good enough to compete with Soldier against squishies, but he'll be so much better against tanks that he should be able to find a spot in the meta. And just his existence should really help reduce tank heavy lineups even more, perhaps even finally make Reinhardt an optional pick (since he and especially his shield are the easiest static targets for Sentry Bastion).
Well it will be good, i think the sentry mode will be the main configuration while the turret mode will be used to destroy shields from the distance and to kill big targets quicly from mid to long distance. I want to try the tank mode with nano so bad, 50% less damage from nano + 35% from the passive = - 85% damage, that's huge!
i feel like bastion's turret form now is more of a tool like hanzo's sonar arrow. you use it to take out large targets or shields and use recon for your normal mode. before recon was so weak you'd be crazy not to use turret form as much as you could over it. but now i believe recon will be really decent at helping bastion survive and kill non tank characters to be viable and his tank form can be used more flexibly to achieve certain goals like keeping pressure on a rhein shield or taking out the tanks. im personally very excited and happy with this change
Thinking it'll be a good idea to check out the PTR and try giving some feedback to Blizzard (like it always is). The transfomration time sounds promising as a good Bastion player needs to be flexible with moving away from dangourus situations as well as effective positioning. We'll see about a lot of the other changes, though.
Bastion needs more DPS in sentry mode. Overall, they're good changes, but an increase to sentry RoF or damage is necessary to make him less vulnerable to all the heroes who aren't walking targets.
I personally think that the spread/headshot thing is going to be the nail in Bastion's coffin. He already struggles vs. anything that got range. Soldier and Zen can finish murder a bastion down field easily. Now with the spread as it is, he outright has no chance against them, where before you could spray a little at them, to make them duck for cover or re-position.
I think viable. On his own, I think he's slightly worse than Solider 76 (AoE on heal and burst with rocket), however I think Bastion is a MUCH stronger Nanoboost target. Sentry I think will be less of a camping tool and more of a suppression tool, especially since you healing doesn't cancel movement and isn't canceled by damage, you can be a little bit more aggressive with your placement rather than sitting back and waiting for headshots.
i think this will be a great change for bastion! I've always had fun playing bastion when i can, so this patch has definitely made me want to play him more, since he'll be a stronger pick!
I will have repair in E, I already use the right click to punch and I don't really understanding why having it in the right click and not in the E button.
Since Bastion can heal without being interrupted, and takes less damage in Tank and Sentry form, Bastion will be Ult Charge Fuel for far range snipers. That is, if no one has spotted him.
Headshot damage being removed seems like a big takeaway from Sentry Config. Especially with the spread changes. It honestly seems like recon mode is just a bigger Soldier 76 that can self heal on the move. Doesn't matter that he has 100 armour over soldier, he has a lot to offer in recon than soldier does, because 76 can bring his entire kit to play whereas recon is only half of Bastion. Sentry being busted down to a ridiculously short range shield buster really just cheapens his overall value. I wouldn't mind the spread changes to sentry If he still had headshot multipliers, but without it seems like even a winston would be a better pick for damage. These changes are to make him more mobile, and while his new passive makes his turret mode seem less suicidal, it doesn't seem like it's a good trade off vs tanks or flankers. Rein has more leniency with charging at him, Zarya might not even need to pop a shield, Dva can just laugh the damage off with the matrix, and Hog will just hook you out and blast you pieces. Winstons the only tank that gets no upsides to these changes.
Soldier can sprint, bastion can not. Soldier can get head shots, bastion can not. Soldier has helix rockets, bastion does not. Soldier has a aoe heal that can heal teammates, bastion has self heal and can't shoot while healing.
bastion heals almost twice as fast bastion can move great distances while healing (soldier needs to stay near his healing station) bastion has 100 more armor bastion can headshot in recon mode which is the relevant comparison and we're haven't even mentioned sentry mode
A step in the right direction I think, not sure if it'll be enough to take him out of garbage tier. This was definitely the direction I was hoping they'd go, make recon better, make turret mode do less damage(technically), everybody wins imo. Definitely gonna give it a try when the patch goes live though.
It's hard to say how I feel about the bastion changes, because they buffed this and nerfed that and all they are really doing is changing bastions playstyle and it's a coin toss to see if he is more viable in this state, but I say it's a buff because they removed the static part of his kit, he's a lot more mobile now and will be a lot harder to kill with the combination of faster transformation, his passive and healing not interrupted by damage and he's able to move while doing it. They have kinda made him into a attack hero, now he'll be in recon more and mobile healing, plus with the play style change he is more effective against shields and tanks then squishy divers. It's all very interesting in my opinion.
Healing while moving is ok but the heal won't be interrupted by damage that sounds too op since he cuz just heal all the damage he receives and the switch to sentry and demolish who ever is attacking him and that 35% damge reduction will sirsly break the idea of flankers having a chance to kill him from behind since even tracers pulse bomb can't kill him on configuration mode
First let's thank Blizzard for finally doing something with Bastion. I missed playing my favorite robot. Sadly I can't play the ptr but I still hope too be heard as a Bastion fan. instead of removing headshot and crits from bastion, make it a 1.5 times. he still has range drop off so he needs some help. I still think he needs too be sped up in recon. hes got the worse movement speed besides Zen i believe. his main attack already forces him too be stationary so he should be able too run away at least. especially if he's to be a hit scan hero 2.0 lastly, iron clad should weigh down bastion in sentry. he should be immovable save for a pharah concussion and lucio boop. hog hook should pull him, but he would stay in sentry. either way. thanks to blizzard for finally starting too do something. I'm just not sure if it will completely pull him from.the wreckage
this seems like a bad idea, the only thing making people pick him ever was turret mode. Nerffing its damage into the floor like that just removes turret mode's value from the character as a whole. I think that with the buffs Bastion got Turret mode needs a nerf, but I think this just takes too much sting out of getting caught by the turret
should have kept the headshot multiplier but at a reduced amount. instead 2x damage just 1.4x or less damage. the headshot hit-marker sound is too satisfying to throw away
whoever says that the no headshots and no crits is a huge nerf, it really isnt because they increased the mag so it's a really good counter to rein and hog now
I've seen a ton - and I mean a TON - of videos about Competitive Overwatch. I want to get better at the game, but I feel as if Competitive is either too toxic or too chaotic, and I've been sick of it for a while. Honestly, I only played one game this season and quit after, and it was by accident I was in that match. I didn't think it was worth the 10 Qualifying Matches to complete. I know the Competitive aspect is a major part of the game, but I'm not sure if I can give it another chance. Golden weapons aside, my question is this: Should I give competitive a chance (either as a new or returning player) and why?
RedQwerty People thought bastion was really powerful day one, bro. But they came to realize his weakness in lack of mobility, and how easily he could be countered.
Sombra sees very little play in the pro seen and when she is actually played it is only due to the gimmicky abuse of her super fast charging ultimate. She's a one trick pony whose trick isn't even particularly good at the pro level. Basically, outside of spamming her ultimate she's just kind of a dead character slot.
I feel like removing headshots and kind of nerfing sentry while buffing recon is going to make him worse at masters/GM and better at bronze/silver, exactly the opposite of their goal
Again it feels like the team over did it with the changes. More defense passive, No extra health in tank mode, healing while moving, no crits, huge spread, and the healing is on a timer. That is a lot at once
There's always that spot between 76 and Dva I've wanted to fill but Bastion was too counterable for basic comp play. Maybe now I can go from running to fighting back as Bastion
this clearly overall is a pretty hard nerf. ppl go "oh nice finally a tank counter", but dont recognize that no headshots DECREASE his overall sentrymode damage by flat 50% (!!!) PLUS additionally increased bullet spread, making bastion at medium range deal roughly 75% LESS (!!!!!!!!!!!!) damage than the live version. how is this a buff? just for a little bit more sustain? thats ridiculous. if they want a tank buster, they should keep the old one. if they want some solo yolo bastion going right into the brawl, bastion76 is the right way to go.
Bastion can tank a genji ult even when he's the only target if he is in sentry mode and healing. Blizzard's approach to making Bastion more playable was just to make him immortal lol
Darn no headshot crits anymore. It'll take longer to kill tanks so I guess he's no longer a counter to big tanks like Roadhog or Winston. Maybe to kill smaller targets then. It might be in the step to the right direction, but we'll have to see.
BASTION 2.0 IS HERE, like the video if you enjoyed it! We've got another video coming out real soon that covers the new server browser and game lobby creator (including ALL of the new settings!). Stay tuned...

Overwatch Central ok thanks
Overwatch Central I still want that blizz conskin I'm salty
Overwatch Central actually this is bastion 3.0
Overwatch Central is that bastion skin new in the update? because i've never seen it before
I don't see any tremendous buff here. Armor removed from tank configuration is a strong nerf. Repair as a resource is halfway nerf compensated by being able to do that in motion. 35% less damage in turret form doesn't give the feeling to be less suicidal". now soldier mains will now have an alternative
I do have a alt, junkrat, genji, dva and mercy. (hanzo mains can die in a hole on ilios)
mccree?
Mccree isn't that good
YES, EXACTLY. THANK YOU AND MORE LIKE THIS.
meme queen nah dude a normal soldier main can never use mccree the difficulty gap is just too much soldier is just spraying ur gun while mccree is all about that aim
Bastion 76 is real..
Wip3out young humans, get out of my bird.
He feels like an actual hero now. Nothing was interesting about him and he was synonymous with negative feelings lol. I actually wanna try learning him now
Same

I utterly find bastion disgusting because of that -- but if these changes go through and he is more in his recon state then sentry. My ill will is already diminishing.
Because the sentry mode had unnecessarily high damage.
Well, now he's Bastion 76, so now he should be put into offense.
Zylbrad is going to have a a fucking field day with this.
Gabriel Zamora You sure? It might interfere with his play-style( Bastion's point and click adventure)
Gabriel Zamora who?
TheRandomGamer an Overwatch RUclipsr
TheRandomGamer A bastion main
Who cares about Zylbrad
Bastion mains are complaining..
People who hate the old Bastion are complaining..
You can't satisfy this community man.
iNsomniac It might be a hint that it just wasn't a good decision.
Necromancy For Kids or was a good decision. People just have a fucking stick up their ass because they think it's op like every single damn thing. Look at what they did with sombra.
+Necromancy For Kids Considering they complain about every change....
iNsomniac master ranked bastion main and I like what I see
when your gun is more accurate then mccree - and you can shred tanks.
Blizzard: Fuck Mccree
Not McCree. Fuck that guy! Just give him a gun.
Zyldaddy is gonna have fun time!!
(Fuck mccree, just buff every hero that laughs at him and we're good.)
McCree can shred tanks already. I completely destroy tanks currently and even did in the tank era -- with the OP d.va. I even beat her in one on one fights with no health pack
Yeah but you have to be REALLY good and consistent asf with him.
No, you don't get more accurate than "perfectly accurate".
*Game Server Connection Failed...*

lmao
they took the ptr down
DarkFairlight why
someone reply when its back up
"Due to stability issues, however, we are temporarily bringing the PTR offline in order to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve the problems players were experiencing with logging in and finding games. But If I already have 50 hours on him that wouldn't make me a 'pleb who always played bastion'
iby102 he's talking about the people who only plays the best characters.
n00dle tbh I mainly play him because of his skins
n00dle I feel ya. I play bastion a lot too and honestly he's not bad as he is now
I've always played bastion.
The headshot part sucks... he's already hard to play - the "no critical hits" is a HUGE nerf.
Brian Ward Not really, he already does buttloads of damage regularly, it only makes him significantly weaker against armoured enemies if anything.
Keep in mind that's only while in sentry mode. He still can headshot in his recon mode.
They basically made the difficult part of bastion a lot easier with these changes.
Not really. If it stayed he would be too good. And then people will complain about him being too op and he'll get nerfed to the ground and will never be played again.
dragontamer1012 I think he was being sarcastic lol
Only for Sentry mode and that is only if you play him in sentry mode is it a nerf. Sentry mode was cancerous anyway and only scum use bastion and because of that mode. What this is doing is making his primary mode recon. Which means bastion be more mobile and frankly less cancerous already
is this game worth getting into for someone new or will it take a long time to git gud?
flik221 yes it is
It's like most games. Easy to play, hard to master
flik221 I am bad a cod but got good at Overwatch the first day I started playing
flik221 highly recommended. fun to play with friends
flik221 it's a really fun game tho
"Heal while moving".
"Heal can't be interrupted when taking damage".

As a Bastion man, I think they did *okay*.
Out of competitive, he can be a real nuisance if he has the high ground, so they got rid of his head shots and increased spread. But in competitive, they buffed him in all the right places.
You win this time Blizzard
*This time*
maybe cause thats what he needed. it was just a useless unplayed char in comp
the only nerf was the headshots. but let's wait and find out how it does
Disbounded x the permanent spread is also a nerf against smaller enemies but no difference against large enemies.
zellski1234 oh right, I totally forgot about that
zellski1234 However his Recon Mode's decreased spread makes him good against squishes. Overall he is way more flexible. But yah getting rid of headshots in turkey mode might be a problem.
Nathan Enzor I am just stating the nerf not the buffs and the only nerfs are no headshot and permanent spread in sentry mode.
The buffs are reduced spread in recon
reduced damage while transformed
A larger clip
And the change is the healing which could be better or worst.
increased spread will mean less damage at range, which is a good thing imo
Apparently these changes were made to make Bastion more of a tank killer and shield breaker. I don't know who thought these changes were needed because he does a damn good job at that already. Half a mag is enough to take down a Rienhardt shield and then about 20 bullets or less to kill him. If you are able to constantly pull off headshots that makes you even better at annihilating tanks. The healing buff, mag increase, and configuration time are all good so I'm not complaining about that. I just don't like the removal of the headshot multiplier and extra armor in tank mode.
I don't want a bastion meta. that's for God damn sure.
Bastion sentry mode looks like it wont be nearly as cancerous and he be played more in his recon state. Which I dont really mind
I am wondering if Blizzard can EVER buff right in 1 time for a change.
***** ikr. like Blizz, what the fuck happend with your "slow buffing" process like you fcking do with Sombra. now this bastardly turret is fcking broken.

bastion was underpowered, the reason they did this is so players can use him more in comp play,

His self heal is ok as long as its timer is balanced. All in all I feel like this is ok, just his added defence that worries me.

That's not including the potential of an organised team.
In sentry mode, bastion can now outheal the damage he takes from a trace getting headshots only
It's going to take more time to do anything in general with this Bastion. His changes literally only slow the game down without even making him more viable. It just takes longer to both kill him and kill things with him.

Can I say that I'm a Bastion Main now without being mass reported?
Vexenity we all can. We're free from the reports
Trust me guys just you wait the community always finds a way
Us bastion mains are never safe, trust me on that one. 1.0 bastion is not as cancerous as people make him out to be, yet we still get flak. It sucks.

won't the ironclad passive hurt genji ince the deflecting damage won't melt a bastion that just blindly fires like it used too?
i think this will be a great change for bastion! I've always had fun playing bastion when i can, so this patch has definitely made me want to play him more, since he'll be a stronger pick!
now that I hear it Alllll, I'm not complaining anymore, this is Good for Bastion
I will have repair in E, I already use the right click to punch and I don't really understanding why having it in the right click and not in the E button.
Worth noting is the fact that he no longer automatically reloads when he transforms. You have to actually go through the reload animation now.
Since Bastion can heal without being interrupted, and takes less damage in Tank and Sentry form, Bastion will be Ult Charge Fuel for far range snipers. That is, if no one has spotted him.
Why would you ever use sentry mode now? Recon 2 stronk
When does this go live I need this
Headshot damage being removed seems like a big takeaway from Sentry Config. He's just Soldier now
Wtf Blizz
Ethan Lennon just wait for Hanzo 2.0, he gets an automatic rifle that shoots arrows.
Soldier can sprint, bastion can not.
Soldier can get head shots, bastion can not.
Soldier has helix rockets, bastion does not.
Soldier has a aoe heal that can heal teammates, bastion has self heal and can't shoot while healing.
bastion heals almost twice as fast
bastion can move great distances while healing (soldier needs to stay near his healing station)
bastion has 100 more armor
bastion can headshot in recon mode which is the relevant comparison
and we're haven't even mentioned sentry mode
Mccree: yeah whatever.
A step in the right direction I think, not sure if it'll be enough to take him out of garbage tier. This was definitely the direction I was hoping they'd go, make recon better, make turret mode do less damage(technically), everybody wins imo.
Definitely gonna give it a try when the patch goes live though.
Seems pretty balanced.
What skin are you using with him?
When is the patch live
It's all very interesting in my opinion.
does ana buff stack with 35% dmg reduction?
New 76 for people who can aim without aimbot??
I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY BASTION MORE WOOOO
great changes, I just won't remove headshots in sentry mode
when does update hit ps4 and Xbox
Healing while moving is ok but the heal won't be interrupted by damage that sounds too op since he cuz just heal all the damage he receives and the switch to sentry and demolish who ever is attacking him and that 35% damge reduction will sirsly break the idea of flankers having a chance to kill him from behind since even tracers pulse bomb can't kill him on configuration mode
Mustafa Ahmed nope, his healing won't out number the heroes' damage output (except Winston probably)
It's all I wanted and more. Definitely gonna try him out now that he isn't just for camping on the point
I still think he needs too be sped up in recon. hes got the worse movement speed besides Zen i believe. his main attack already forces him too be stationary so he should be able too run away at least. especially if he's to be a hit scan hero 2.0
lastly, iron clad should weigh down bastion in sentry. he should be immovable save for a pharah concussion and lucio boop. hog hook should pull him, but he would stay in sentry.
either way. thanks to blizzard for finally starting too do something. I'm just not sure if it will completely pull him from.the wreckage
Watching this I believe Bastion might be able to keep up (a little) w/ a Rein up front, so let's see some more attack Bastions.
ETA on nerf?
this seems like a bad idea, the only thing making people pick him ever was turret mode. Nerffing its damage into the floor like that just removes turret mode's value from the character as a whole. I think that with the buffs Bastion got Turret mode needs a nerf, but I think this just takes too much sting out of getting caught by the turret
should have kept the headshot multiplier but at a reduced amount. instead 2x damage just 1.4x or less damage. the headshot hit-marker sound is too satisfying to throw away
whoever says that the no headshots and no crits is a huge nerf, it really isnt because they increased the mag so it's a really good counter to rein and hog now
Will road hogs hook and Ana sleep dart take him out of sentry mode ?
I cant access the PTR ... Why ?
This is the final nail in the coffin for the Triple tank meta IMO
It's like Soldier: 76, but instead of running fast, he just stops immediately and stays put, and instead of burst damage, it's high damage over time.
Hey, now there's 3 heroes without an E. D.va, mercy, and bastion. Yet only mercy launched without....
Def excited! Gonna hop on the ptr today
Day 1:
Everyone: bastion is trash lol I would never play him.
Ptr Buff:
Everyone: been playing bastion since day 1
RedQwerty People thought bastion was really powerful day one, bro. But they came to realize his weakness in lack of mobility, and how easily he could be countered.
Hollow sombra actually is played in the pro seen. Bastion mercy are NEVER picked
Can all the characters get passives?
So with that spread he won't be able to counter Pharah effectively anymore?
Nerfed him to the point where he's a slower, larger soldier. Gg blizzard, you fucked it up
You're not thinking this through at all if you think this is a buff.
Love the changes. Headshots not so much, but the other changes are pretty welcome
IS this update on Console or just PC
this is going to be the new symmetra meta, there will be that one person playing bastion on attack or defense, destroying everyone
When you're a Reinhardt main and you feel the world slowly collapsing around you.
so many other characters need tweaks and they pick Bastion?
I feel like removing headshots and kind of nerfing sentry while buffing recon is going to make him worse at masters/GM and better at bronze/silver, exactly the opposite of their goal
nice quick video. keep it up.
Again it feels like the team over did it with the changes. More defense passive, No extra health in tank mode, healing while moving, no crits, huge spread, and the healing is on a timer. That is a lot at once
Imagine a bastion with Symmetra shield's and Torjborn's armor in Sentry mode along with a zarya, rein and a Mercy.
Bastion is just a better soldier now
D.va matrix buff up ?
Wtf why does Overwatch Central have the exact same footage!?
We'll have to see how well his new Sentry Mode counters tanks before we can say where this lands him, I think.
Im still wondering. The healing is still stops by get a hit?
Nope. He can heal through damage now.
I think the headshot thing was to let people be able to run away without deing instantly.
Introducing a new character: Bastion 76!
25 bullets in his mag and a self heal
High damage bullets and low recoil.
So happy for honor is so closed to release
Bastion can tank a genji ult even when he's the only target if he is in sentry mode and healing. Blizzard's approach to making Bastion more playable was just to make him immortal lol
I want headshots in turret mode back. It doesn't make much sense for Bastion :(
but everything else looks awesome!
Yay,now Bastion will be able to have a use again
Community with Brains: Bastion is fucking overpowered... *and he's just behind a door!*
Blizzard: Let's buff Bastion
Darn no headshot crits anymore. It'll take longer to kill tanks so I guess he's no longer a counter to big tanks like Roadhog or Winston. Maybe to kill smaller targets then. It might be in the step to the right direction, but we'll have to see.
I think they should lower the bullets per second in centry mode
He will become a soldier alternative with this i believe
IMO he is better in attack now.
But worse at long distance and no headshots in turret mod.
*WE'RE ALL BASTIONS NOW!*
We're all Soliders now.
holy shit I'm so psyched for these mercy buffs
I'm so excited because if bastions stronger that means genji is more viable because bastion will be played more
