Pile4# this happened just last month. I informed them I shall be going on maternity leave and couple of weeks later initiated my maternity leave in the company tool. As per guidelines in my country they cannot roll off someone from any project if it's maternity leave. But they did anyways. However after much intervention from PMO team they have decided to roll me off the project after I come back from maternity leave. Still I have been put on hold unofficially, so that I don't have any work until the next couple of months before I start my maternity leave.
