Great job, and thank you so much!
I got a cadence idea I think u might like
Eh Fleming, you can blow bro! I’ve always prided myself on my Cadence, but you brother are at another level 🤙👍Semper Fi
I want to join the amy🫡🇺🇸
I will be joining the army when I turn 18.
Couldn’t find a full cadence video of this years ago, glad someone made a full version of this
There may be some friendly ribbing and joking between the Navy and Marines, but it should be telling that this Cadence... which is a Navy cadence, tells the tale of Marines that won the Medal of Honor.
Yes
remember the marines are a department of the navy!
@@zapman2100 Yeah. Same as the Coast Guard during war time.
This is a Marine cadence we all know the navy doesn't do anything that requires a cadence
@@mordecaiwayhe2756bro come on, this what we talking about, whos been busting their ass doing months long deployments at sea on the Ford And Eseinhower tired missing home and families, whos been shooting down drones and missiles from houthis, who just sunk 3 rebel ships and deployed helicopters, and now an air attack can commence at any moment against iran and the houthis wonder who will carry that out 🤔, every branch does their part all rep the same team 🇺🇸
“Come on, you sons of bitches, do you want to live forever?” -SgtMaj Dan Daly before severely fucking up some Germans’ day.
he is mentioned in the new CoD (MW23) although they dont give any context and list his rank as a gunnery Sgt not SgtMaj.
so in bootcamp, my division was the only one that was allowed to sing this on the streets. we even had to slow down our cadence because this was supposed to be a ceremonial march. and we ended up singing it as we marched to graduation. best moment of navy bootcamp
It should be telling just what the Navy really thinks of the Marines, when their most respected cadence, is about Marines.
My 3rd RDC was a former Marine, so we had to earn the right to sing that cadence by being the best, and we were. CNO and Top div
That one was the hardest to learn. My petty officers never let us sing it
@artyomchyornyj9530 I learned this pretty easily
Bless you, young man.. my old man did 2 combat tpurs to iraq, to see a failed pullout from Afghanistan.. you'll always be blessed as you support the ppl that make your life safe..
Don't forget the t-shirts and hoodies are also for sale! jonathanmichaelfleming.com
May their memories never fade.
Death is the state in which we live on in memory... never forget
🫡
I'm bringing this cadence to scuba to see if they'll let me sing it to help honor it and teach the future of the military about these heroes. At EMS we sung pop songs the last day and the only I remember is "never gonna give you up" . No one knew this cadence so why not teach them.
Amen amen
So long as the United States Marine Corps lives on, so does their memory, and many more men like them.
Basilone , Iwo jima, 1 M.O.H and 1 Navy Cross, ( " I'm staying with my boys ").
Love all your work.
Eh Fleming, you can blow bro. I’ve always prided myself on my Cadence, but you brother are on another level🤙👍 Semper Fi
Great song Jonathan ! I have met 3 MOH recipients one of which was pappy . Always humbled !
Long live the brave. God bless you, brother.
You are mustering up the fighting spirit of america! Come what may, i am determined to return our country back to it glorious status. May God bless this home of the free!
love your music , my older brother was in the marines
By far my favorite cadence to sing while I was in
I love your music keep it up 🤟❤️🇺🇸
Makes me remember getting my FMF Pin!!! We had to learn ALL the history! Oorah
These cadences not only helps me on my runs and work outs. They also help me fall asleep at night.
This is one of my favorite Jonathan proud of you
Proud to say I am the first to like this song and comment on it. Can't wait for it. And knowing you, It will be great.
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed it.
@@JonathanMichaelFleming Oh god, yes I did. It was just brilliant. Keep doing what you do.
you are a good man
We will never Forget
Love the cadences
Yes, Pappy absolutely did that!
(My dad's nickname in the military.. Pappy.)
Sources links? .or just full of shit.
Iv been listening to this repetitively I'm trying to learn it so I can sing cadence this week! You are the best im so glad I found you!!
For all of you who are thinking of joining the military, this is why you join the Marine Corps and not the Army.
Yeah of course
Go into barracks with no running water no gym
Let's grab some cement to make some dumbbells and barbells
Yeah let's go to war in fellujah
Where in the mission planing there was casualties.
Army delta force was angry because they didn't want to do that because they had other ways they can engage with minimal casualties.
Yeah join the Marines.
77th ID the only Army Division the Marines called when the were pissing their pants. The only unit ever that the enemy refused to surrender to. The Japanese said they would surrender to anyone but the 77th ID. Unlike the rest of the U.S. military the 77th ID was the only unit that gave no quarter and took very very few prisoners
I’ve been waiting for quite a bit on this one!
The time has come.
Saludos a mis hnos EEMG antiguedades 96, 97, 98 desde Corozal Belice siempre leales
I came to watch the metal of honor 🎖 story's and came cross this and love it 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Semper FI!!
Fun fact: This is a Navy Cadence.
Another favorite but I like them all
This song and cadence always brings tears in my eyes
Five white stars on a blue background, medal of honor just to wear around.
In 1900 at the peking wall, private Dan Daley answered the call.
At the rebellion he took the lead, and by himself he did the deed.
In 1914 he won one more. Fighting the Haitians just to settle the score.
Gunnery Sergeant Daly passed the test, he captured and destroyed a machine gun nest.
Five white stars on a blue background, medal of honor just to wear around.
Butler and Daley each won two. Making history for me and you.
As fighting marines they took control, they fought the enemy blow by blow.
Pappy won one in 43, splashing zeros in the sea.
But Chesty Puller was the best, he wore five navy crosses on his chest.
Iron cross on a blue background. Five navy crosses just to wear around.
Daly should have received a Third in 1918 at Belleau Wood
He should of but congress passed a law where you can only receive one. And they passed the law because of this dude earning so many, but im not sure if its still a law because people have still earned more than one. Just like the guy named John chapman who earned 2 in one day for saving his entire team while being severely wounded and ended giving his life.
@@RichardL.1453 I’ve heard of guys that had three before there was a book I read as kid went through the history of the medal and who won it and the story of it went from the first all the way to desert storm I believe
Prayers are all in
Keep up the hard work
Only one thing could make this cadence better and that’s a verse or two for Audie Murphy.
Why would the marines include army? It's a marine/navy cadence
@@ryanschneider3324 If there’s one man that deserves to be mentioned in a cadence no matter the branch, it’s Audie Murphy.
@@nathanielm9150not that he doesn't deserve recognition. But this isn't about the army. So, no, he shouldn't be recognized in this cadence
@@nathanielm9150 or Col. arthur whermouth (the ghost of Bataan with 120+ confirmed enemy KiA) or Col. Lewis millet (the green beret who served in ww2, Korea, veitnam and lord only knows where with the CIA) or Lauri torni (the Finn who hated communism so much he fought it in 5 wars as a part of 3 different armies) or MSgt. Roy benavidez (one of the people they losely based rambo on) or if we are talking about other militaries then just about any Gurkha (they simply do not know fear, they are about the only modern military that can take a knife to a gunfight and still be just as if not more effective)... thank God the Brits didn't have Gurkhas fighting for them during the American revolution because if they had those superhuman warriors on their side then the US might not exist...
I like this one because of the history. Can you do more about each war please.
I love that you sing these cadences. i just hope you would join the brotherhood and come correct. Nevertheless you have my salute Semper Fi

PLEASE 🙏🏻, Make & Sing MORE Songs
There's only been so very few military personnel who received two medal of honors
IIRC in the marine corps there was only 2, one of which was SgtMaj Dan daly...
Just wanted to put this out there.. nobody ever wins the Medal of Honor they receive it, because they would gladly give it back. Love the cadence though.
This world now is not what my family members died for this is sad my uncle died crying saying this isn't what we fought for 😢
"come on you sons of bitches do you want to live forever" dan daly
JJ again mad respect, don't fck with our military 😅
I have a big respact for you all i live in England but if i was born in the us i would joined up a long time ago and now im 43 😢
Army, Marines, Navy ,Air Force ….We are brothers in arms…
I Love you
SEMPER FIDELIS
When i went through boot , you had to earn the right to sing this cadance past the Iowa . We did .
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can you do 15+ minutes videos for pt?
Turn this cadence into a rap song
Oohrah
i❤ you
MY OLDEST BROTHER IS IN THE ARMY AND HAS THE SIVER MEDALE
Yeah
Why is it "Five white stars on a blue background?" The Medal of Honor has 13 on its blue field. Is it in reference to the points of the star? I'm thoroughly confused, as much as I love this cadence.
The actual medal has 13 but the service ribbon(what he is singing about) has 5 white stars on a blue background
One problem with the Cadence Daly won his second in 1918 not 1914 we weren't even in the war in 14. Other then one of better modern day Cadences
No he earned it is 1915 in Haiti but he should have earned a third medal in 1918 at Belleau Wood
@@historytoremember True i just looked it up. When I wrote that i said somethiing sounded off. But I think 1915 would fix well in the cadence.
hooah
Ooh-fucking-RAH
So I'd dan Daly was 20 at 1900 till 43 he will be 63.
There are some thigns that are a bit out of sorts. Basically robbed Haiti in 1914 and then talking about the Marine Raiders in the Pacific WW2
🫡
When he said they captured a Machine gun nest who was he talking about.
In WW1, Daly took out a German machine gun nest by himself with grenades and a 45colt
@ryanschneider3324 but also my cousin Alvin C York captured a machine gun nest aswell by making turkey sounds, and when the Germans poked up, he shot them they also name a anti aircraft gun after him.
Corporal Desmond Doss won the Medal of Honor without wearing a gun. but he saved a lot of his comrades.
I have only one critical comment to this video, ditty, jingle. You do not WIN the Medal of Honor like it was some shooting arcade stuffed animal, you EARN it by exemplary valor and the awarding of the medal is recognition of that valor. Shame on you. You should know better. Richard Stadtherr, 91B (Combat Medic) 1982-1988.
These are the actual lyrics 💀
Dude just put your hands in your pockets 😂
The fact you have the urge to take these rightful cadences and change them to how you think they sound by pace is an insult. I am military active duty and currently a military instructor, you make these videos and think to yourself that your doing the right thing when in reality your ruining history and tradition. Do your PROPER research before you make these awful versions you create.
We no you wait in the military lol
With all due respect he’s at least keeping our traditions alive even if it ain’t how we sang it
Your mocking and displaying insult
