Your time doesn't start until you move so don't worry about reaction times. Focus on the launch. As for all the bs comments here, don't worry about them. It takes time to learn how to launch. If you actually want to get everything out of it, have someone who knows how to dial in vehicles work with you. Common stuff will be traction bars and adjustable shocks. That's it. It's a process, stay positive👍

With no 4x4 launch I’m surprised it got out of hole that hard even with drag radials. It definitely needs a drop kit. Keep making videos. Good luck with the truck. I have a very similar build.

No disrespect, but 8.67 in the 1/8 converts to 13.57 in the 1/4 mile and that translate to about 320 hp. Something's not right. Maybe Roush is over stating the package and hoodwinking everyone. Also I watched your dyno video and it said 600 hp at the rear wheels. The math doesn't work out.600hp should be running 6.9s in the 1/8 and 10.9s in the 1/4. My Lightning can run 12.6 in the 1/4 at 111 mph on street tires and that's with about 400 rear wheel hp and 500 ft/lb torque. Maybe try an exhaust, lower rear end, traction bars? Just saying. Nice looking truck though. Good luck!

I would say you ran it in normal mode instead of sport mode for sure. It skips gears in normal mode. I ran mine once in normal and it ran 15.5 1/4. However, if I run it in sport mode it drops to 8.7 & 13.5 and that is a Supercrew, 20" rims, 33" all terrain tires, 4wd hi and traction control off. All I have is CAI, e85 dyno tune and exhaust. Your truck will run some insane numbers in sport mode with a good e85 tune for certain. They probably have you tuned way down to give you that 3 year 36k warranty

what settings did you have the truck set at? were you in sport mode? traction control was on? did you have the locking diff. set?
No sport mode and advanced trac off and locking dif on
My stock 2020 RCSB went 8.4@86mph with stock tires.
Your MPH is quite low.. I have a 18 SuperCrew with the 3.5 ecoboost (tuned for 93 oct) and I ran 8.3 at 83mph in the 8th mile. My quarter mile time was 13.05 at 103.8 mph. I would expect that your reg cab supercharged truck would have a higher trap speed than 81 mph. I am in the process of trading in my truck for a 2020 supercharged supercrew. (getting it at the end of the week) and I really hope it will be faster than what I have now. This video is making me worried.
seems a bit slow.. what stage is that roush? how much boost, and is it a stock tune because the stock roush tune is garbage. trust me i know!

Reaction time has nothing to do with the time you run. You could have a 20 second reaction time and still run an 8 second pass.

@@mussskyrat3096 4x4 is way heavy .. you can hook 2wd with the right tire and suspension set up 2wd is the way

Need some bolt on and it'll pick up a lot. Headers, exhaust, pulley, meth etc. To be honest, that truck should be running like 90 in the 1/8th. I've seen bolt on 5.0 trucks run 83 in the 1/8th. So don't be satisfied. There is more on the table.
