    Even after so many negative feedbacks, nothing has been done to improve upon the clarity of lectures. Very unfortunate

    it is really hard to answer the quiz questions only by listening to this session. please simplify and upload a video as it is a vital part of biostatistics.

      Had I been crystal clear, i would not have consulted this video.
      It's his duty to make us understand while we ensure that we will also try our best to understand.

    Issuing an order to give bcbr exams suddenly after all these years, asking for money from students all over india, and what do you do in return? Upload such videos of incompetent professors who cant even say a word other than what is written in slides. Seems like this man wanted to teach history rather than statistics, trying to make students mug up everything as he must have done the same back in those days. Have Shame and replace him.

    Some of ur classes are short and easy to understand Sir.. But some like these should be taught more clearly with examples. Cannot even answer some of the questions without mugging up the whole thing

    You taught calculation considering we are already prepped with it. My stream of education just got this injected that i had no clue i would ever get back in to.
    How come confidence coefficient 0.95 to become z - 1.96 ?

    • @NARAYANNE007
      @NARAYANNE007 6 месяцев назад

      In a normally distributed bell shaped curve, if you take 2 SDs and mark them on either side of the midpoint, 95% of the total entries would fall within them... that is 1.96 SD to be exact and is said as a round 2 SD in some quick calculations... ie, for eg, in a data collection of the heights of students of a class, the 2SD( ie 1.96 SD to be exact) from the centre (mean) on either side would encompass 95% of the class... the remaining 5% are the extremes of height (the lowest 2.5% and the highest 2.5%)

      @@NARAYANNE007 thank you Narayan sir. It's been a while and you answer came a bit late. Meanwhile I had took it as a constant factor and gave exam as well, I passed.
      I am sorry if I may have appeared to be negating the efforts taken in the lecture, however I admit that because of your message I came here again and I don't want to miss this to acknowledge my gratitude towards the efforts teachers have taken in explaining. Thank you sir to you for your reply (either way if you are or your are not part of Nptel) and to whole teaching faculties involved.
