What shows less class to the opponent: (1) putting in backups, only calling run plays, and trying to "manage" the score, or (2) not trying? The answer is (2). It'd be a slap in the face. It's on the team that get whooped to drop to a more competitive conference.

Coaches should be accountable for running up the score on opposing league rivals. Yep, Aledo's one loss, their only loss, their lone loss came at the hands of Bishop Amat, 42-7. The score was 42-0 going into the 4th quarter, and Bishop Amat rested most of its starters for that final quarter. It could have very well been a 60-0 shutout. LOOK IT UP ON MAXPREPS.
