One of my favorite all-time characters! I really hope Jason Momoa will play Lobo in my lifetime! Please let it happen!
Definitely a hot piece. Favorite Lobo Appearance was in the JL Cartoon where he wanted to be Superman's Replacement after he died. His confrontation with Kalibak was priceless. Lobo kept piling cars on him until he said "Uncle"
As you said, it's a badass piece! Awesome Representation of Lobo! Rommel Chopra nailed it! Awesome details!
The down side of this piece is the base,agreed on that it's too deep! Also the pose could be a bit different,but I can see,why they didn't go for a standing pose ,as Sideshow nailed that one previously with their Martin Canale's sculpt!

I don't mind the monotone paint, but Prime 1 just clumps too much stuff together on their bases, needlessly driving up the cost and space requirements. Another good example is their Aliens Queen dio.

Great statue, so happy his dog is there, one of my favourite crossovers was when Judge Dredd & Lobo faced off, not enough Judge Dredd & 2000ad statues

Yeah you can buy the dolphins 🐬 🐬 separately But no joke he is f-in badass. He definitely makes a presences in the room. And all the hand switch out are badass. I’d be switching out between that cigar and that double barrow. To bad the right arm you couldn’t put the shotgun and the left with the cigar. Great piece. Great video
While much smaller, I think the new sideshow Lobo maquette looks better. The chain hook is way too small on the prime 1 imo

I can’t imagine people getting upset about someone getting a fact wrong about an imaginary character. I would also challenge them to put 60,000+ minutes of video online for the public to see and be perfect
I really like this statue but don’t love it. Of course I love lobo as a character because I grew up reading all his comics. I think the paint is way too monotone and grayish, reminds me a lot of the Batman damned piece which is another piece where I don’t like the paint job either. FANTASTIC SCULPT though and I’ll put this at a 3/5 if I’m being objective. Yeah... that base is out of control man lol 😂 I would much rather have the sideshow one because it represents the comics more accurately (although I know this is based on the game) but I don’t love that either. I just can’t justify the price of that makes sense. As always, I’m grateful for your reviews because you take chances and give us honest feedback. Great stuff brother
DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE PROTOTYPE, SKIN IS DARKER THE DOG IS WAY OFF, TOO MUCH GRAY JUST LOOK AT THE COMPARISONS. VERY SURPRISE PRIME ONE WAS OFF ON THIS.

I am a big Lobo fan and I am ecstatic about this huge piece. That's what she said. I love all of the details incorporated into the sculpt and to me they are giving you what you want for the price. If it is size that bothers you, (that's what she said) they could have made this whole sculpt 1/4 as is. That might have made it simpler for you to put in your display case and possibly bring the price down. Still Lobo just like Judge Dredd is an acquired taste, It's not for everyone. So for those who are real die hard fans of the Lobo, we say go big or go home. This most definitely has the X factor.

Totally agree about how deep the piece is. They threw all kinds of unnecessary stuff back there. Displayability NEEDS to be a consideration for designers and it was a miss here. Otherwise it’s a very cool piece. Prime 1 quality never disappoints
what is worse are important stuffs in the back. like their Hero Academia and G vs K bust. I can not have everything as a centerpiece or keep turning them.
I know nothing of this guy but man he looks bad as hell. I like his dog too. His Base is cool and the propane tank and junk all over. Then the pose of him and then the chains and gun is cool. Again this is another DC guy that makes me think Ghost Rider.

Howdy, Mr. X! I don’t know Jack about Lobo since I am not into DC characters. What I’m lost on is how an intergalactic character can (A) have so much of a human look (but the same could be said about Galactus), (B) how, if Lobo killed everyone on his planet and is, indeed an intergalactic being, would need a gun in order to take out his enemies, (C) how, if he can regenerate his damaged body parts even more effectively than Wolverine or Deadpool, he doesn’t just charge into any battle without weapons (after all, it sounds like he can kick anyone’s ass without consequence or long-term damage and doesn’t need any weapons to do so) and (D) why he’s wearing clothing that looks like he stole it from a bad biker gang. I’m sure he’s cool, but those questions couldn’t be avoided. And what’s with the cross? C’mon, he killed everyone on his planet. He has a ZERO-PERCENT chance of getting into Heaven. 🤡 As for the overall statue, I can’t find too much fault with it. Yeah, the size is unnecessarily large and there are pieces on it that don’t make a lot of sense like the pipes in the back that look like they were permanently-borrowed from a plumber’s convention. The “clown” patches around his eyes are a mystery, too. The hair sculpt could have been better. Dawg is killer. Overall, I’d give this a 3 at most. As for 1/3 scale figures, since many people are going down that rabbit hole (apparently, because 1/4 scale figures aren’t big enough?), we’re all seeing that segment of the market ramping up. It’s great for the artists. The prices are ridiculous and the need to bump out walls in our homes to fit them all in is........well, something we have to live with. Hey, sell your sofa to fit this in your room! 🤣😂. Great review, Mr. X.

Good review bro, I´m going to put the trigger on this babe. I see a good job in the statue in general except the chain. But I think the Chain is nothing major. I also see a purple skin tone but I think I can deal with it. Do you see a big diference bewteen the final produt and the prototype?
It's hard to judge since I never saw the proto in person. And so much can affect pics and video. But I do love it.

God this is the grailiest grail in all of comics and collectibles for me. I run a fan page and have nearly 500 comics with Lobo appearing in them. I would love to have this as a centerpiece to my room. I'm working towards being able to afford it, but I feel I'm still a few years away.

The only P1S statue I cancelled because of the quality vs prototype and I was if for the DLX day 1...
Amazing sculpt but the coloring in the prototype was from another planet.
This Lobo piece is quite possibly the worst Lobo statue out there. The base is way too big and cluttered with pointless bric-a-brac & detritus. The paint, especially the skin tone is flatter than a witches tit! Zero redeeming features, ill conceived and slap dash. Shockingly bad! Cheers, 8-)
This did not come out that bad like some had said. Its actually a pretty bad ass piece. I just dont care for the chain as it looks a little bit on the cheaper side. Other then that overall nice statue.
This is honestly the problem I'm having with Prime1 lately. They are putting to much into the base and the bases are almost undisplayable. Plus it takes away from the character as well.
Obviously the statue still looks amazing though!

There is a difference between prototypes and “SHOW STATUES”.
NOTHING looks as good as a show statue or convention statue because they are statues that have been given “Extra Attention” to sell units.
Bottom line, the stupid so-called prototype versions DO NOT look nearly as good as the final releases and the final releases don’t look as good as the convention/show statues.
This is an EASY 5/5 statue because the character is a cross between ROB ZOMBIE, A ZOMBIE, A VAMPIRE, A SUPERHERO, HEAVY METAL, and a few other characters.
Mine had the Cosmic Dolphins and it looks like a black light near the statue making it really pop.
This statue will explode in value if Momoa ends up playing LOBO in a movie.
Waiting on that movie DC, don't mess it up.

Hey man, quick question. I just got my Lobo DX yesterday and set it up today.
All was going perfect until I moved the shipper bag and accidentally pulled on it and the main head dropped on the floor and broke a couple of small pieces.
I was able to glue them back but I still want a brand new head now (because I’m anal retentive as hell). Also, I need to know if they sell paint for touch up?
What are the odds I can find a replacement head? Do Prime1 sell them? Or do I just have to hunt the market?

So glad to see this review! Lobo is my favorite character and my primary collecting focus. I cannot wait for my DX to arrive next week. Very happy to see this review, which I feel is much more accurate and fair compared to the initial review from that one collector that was so negative in his assessment. The lighting was poor and way too much weight was given to the criticisms. (Obviously we all are entitled to our opinions!) I was looking at the same pictures and video as everybody else and could not agree with most of what was complained about. Is it perfect? No, but it's damn nice and totally bad ass!

Bad ass!!!! Yes it's a 5 in my opinion,but I am a not so proud owner of 0 statue's .it does hurt cause I want to start a collection but maybe I'll upgrad from collectable action figures to statue's.

Did you buy this from Prime 1? I'm asking because the edition size does not match on both boxes. First time I've seen that since they usually have warnings on the boxes that the edition numbers must match.

Lobo has always been my favorite from DC by far the dopest character fraggin’ too much sometimes that chain is really well done the links kill it dude 🤙🏽 what a base man fraggin’ CLASSIC with the skulls and pipes geez and dawg’s face is always looking like he belongs to Lobo so in this statue it didn’t lack in BADASSERY. I’m loving the gas tank looking thing. The guns and skulls seriously this piece is too insanely out there it may be rated R so kids stay away.I must say this is almost as awesome as me when I walk in the hotel door to let her have it! 😎😏😉
16:53 “Difficult to hold with one hand.” If so, I recommend you hone your grip and practice a few hand techniques until it can fit squarely into palm of your hand. It may take awhile, but I believe in you. Remember to work on it every night and don’t skip days. Also, I challenge you to do a “top 10 Badass statues” to determine the ultimate Badass in your badass collection. And if you can say “badass” more than a thousand times in a single video, I’ll give you a lollipop...still in its wrapper. But Prime 1 went completely HAM on this statue. Love the figure, but the base looks like someone’s mental breakdown while off their Ritalin.

You know, I had him on PO, but ended up cancelling him because of the delays and other commitments. Kinda of regret it now, but not too much. I'm getting in the SS version this month, which was cheaper and more colorful.
