@@CFRTrainSpotter Hi... From what I can remember, I think there are around 12... maybe at most 14 in Norway now... These are "Krøra" and "Hære" on the Krøderen Line (Krøderbanen)... "Helleland" on the Sørland Line (Sørlandsbanen) near Egersund (only one bell)... 8 or maybe 9 on the Thamshavn railway (Thamshavnbanen) near Trondheim (only one bell)... It’s also one at the Railway museum in Hamar… These are the ones I know with relatively high certainty… in addition, it may be that there are 1 or 2 in Narvik, but I don't know this for sure... I hope this was helpful... with best regards LHL1989;-)
The timing is perfect! You found the perfect camera angle so that the crossing activates the moment the train appears!
0:30 when the bell and lights came on
sounds like a Canadian E-bell on a train engine!
0:29 wait
I saw a light on the train 0:30
Dude i just now that the Norway railroad crossing turn on when the light came at 0:29
I just saw the light of the train 0:01
What does the white light mean?
The white light on the crossing means that you can cross the tracks…
0:30 railroad crossing turns on
Much better than the ones in the UK that are designed for society’s least common denominator
are there any remaining level crossings in Norway with mechanical bells?
No, unfortunately… only a handful left now…
mostly on museum railways
Is it okay if you can tell me the exact locations? Im asking for a friend and he really wants to know.
