Multiple layers to this.
1. The song itself is a testament to AZKi's very limited life - one click of that "life button", and she's gone, and as a virtual entity (her full moniker is Virtual Diva AZKi), one click of that delete button, and her life, as a VTuber/VSinger, is gone forever.
2. This song (although just vaguely) is about a love endured, and love lost - an attempt to keep the flames of love from dying out until the last goodbye.
3. The grim reality of life, its consequences and lasting impressions, as you have pointed out in this video.
This song gives me chills. AZKi is different from most of the other Hololivers, because she streams a lot less and rarely plays games. She focuses a lot more on her music, and it shows. Afaik she has the most extensive discography and she's basically one of the Hololive JP Branch OGs. Though I feel she's also criminally underrated.

AZKi is still the only one I think under the Inonaka Music label (INNK Music). I know about Suisei Hoshimachi story and how she was rejected multiple times, went to INNK and then to hololive jp. She and AZKi performed this song in their farewell live concert in 3D and they did cry I think...

AZKi's songs tend to contain a lot of raw emotion that hits different even without knowing the lyrics. Some great examples are Aoi Yume (青い夢) and Yamanai Ame (止まない雨). You should definitely give them a listen, no need to react to them (although I'd love it if you did). Just the experience is enough :D

This song for me really not about the song but about who sing it, I only tears up when Azki sing this song, other still can't make me tears up, She always pour full emotion into this song whenever she sing, it killing me everytime

Found some more information that can be useful. Try searching on Reddit for "Azki's Life/Inochi song translation + her thoughts on it".
In Summary, this song describes the fragility of existence, especially of Vtubers where their existence depends on fans / supporters remembering them. Once their fans forget about them, their (the Vtubers) existence is completely gone.
There is some confusion over the translated lyrics from the video, for example "Don't take the day lightly when he is depressed part".
Japanese tends to be vague of whom the sentence is referred to, hence that sentence (when read in Japanese) could also refer to the speaker / singer (Azki in this case).

While it's true that AL collab use this song.. It's not made FOR AL.
AL and cover basically chose few song from AZKi and Shirakami Cafe Music to be used in lobby and battle, but all of them never specifically made for Azur Lane

As for the actual video though, I found out about this song from the Azur Lane collab with Hololive waaaaay back in January of last year I think. This song and Fake.fake.fake and Inochi all by AZKi are all my first exposure to Hololive music and honestly some of the best music I've ever heard in my life. Thanks for reacting to this even if it isn't rap. Brings back great memories.
I admit I hadn't listened to this in full before so I had to give it a listen before I watched your reaction.. It made me emotional too, don't worry, man. It's a powerful song.
Where I heard it before though not in full? It was a clip of AZKi singing this duet live with Suisei.. And when they got to the line towards the end: "I don't know if I'm still alive to the end," Suisei started crying while singing.. When AZKi started her next line, she in turn got a bit emotional as well.. I recommend checking the clip out if you haven't seen it. Seeing singers get emotional while singing is a very human thing and it moves me. Suisei had a lot of struggles to get where she is, even within HoloLive and I feel like her career almost ended more than once.. So I feel like the song really hit home with her.
