He was pure class. Covered an incredible amount of ground but never looked like he was working hard. Good at everything on and off the ball. Incredibly effective and so elegant on the ball. Didn’t do too many interviews but was incredibly articulate and well spoken in the ones he did. Plus, he had a 22 year career as a professional. Just amazing.

Don’t understand how Seedorf never won the Ballon d’Or! Such an incredible player. Saw him playing with Ajax in the early 90’s when he was 16 years old. You saw immediately this guy was special. The rest is history. I think Seedorf was the missing link for the Dutch team to win the WC Final in South-Afrika 2010. He was amazing at club level, it be Ajax, Madrid or Milan though never was really able to show the same skills at National Level and it could have cost the Dutch a few chances on the finals. Nevertheless, amazing to see him at this age, in good health and good spirit.
