That's not a penalty, that's a free-kick, they literally kick the ball from outside the box. The reason they can't score is not cuz they lost their class, it's cuz they lost power from their legs, you need certain power to curve the ball which they can't anymore and when they try to give more power they lose tha balance and kick it outside
@PorgasDAce182 Not necessarily tho So many free kick taker don't have much power to lose it to start with It’s just easy for goalkeepers to react to a ball from that destine( 18-20 meter ) seemingly Than from a penalty spot (11meter) So it’s not losing power It’s because other factors like practicing , a possible injury, etc Look at del piero possibly one of the oldest guys in here yet his free kick all near or on target Also a lot of these guys wasn’t free kick taker to start with Aside from pirlo , rivaldo and del piero And maybe figo occasionally
