As a former GNC manager, I can confirm you don’t have to know anything to actually get hired. It’s less of helping people with their nutrition and more of trying to get the biggest sale you can. Glad I switched to personal training where I can genuinely help others.

Caring too much about what others think of you can definitely be a narcissist trait, how can it not be? It doesn't mean that it IS necessarily. Anyway, you're making too big of an assumption based on very little information that OP wrote. And what is wrong with being aware of an unhealthy behaviour and trying to correct it? You can at the very least improve it. Why should she not try worry less about what people think of her? In almost any situation, that will lead to an improvement is perspective and mental health. Also you aren't really saying anything concrete. Like what exactly is your point? Obviously there's a lot more to what op is saying than she shared here, and baseless assumptions are the hallmark of the idiot.

Chris, I consider myself a hopeful /spiritual / nihilist. I believe you can only control your own little world and try to do as much good as possible within it. Try not to get to deep into all the things that are out of our control. Things like global warming, AGI, War, etc... Just do your best to treat yourself right, and people around you as well. If we all do that, we'll gradually make the world a better place. Thanks for the pod.

@icu3869 ohh ok. Now I see. You're just out to criticize people based on hardly any information just for the sake of it. You aren't as smart as you think. Have you never heard of mnemonic devices? Or tools and tricks to help you remember? Almost everyone uses them even if subconsciously.
I bet you're not very good at memorizing things or have never had to memorize a lot of information, otherwise you would know what you are saying is clueless.
For a horticulture exam I once had to memorize over 200 plant species, by their Latin names, and memorize how to identify them. One trick I used... And lots of students did... Let's say the name was Rudbeckia Fulgidia, aka a black eyed Susan. I would remember that by thinking Rudbeckia sounded like Rude Becky. And she gave Susan a black eye because she's rude and hit her. If you can attach mental imagery to the words you are trying to remember, it really helps with recall. it's not some psuedo scientific bullshit, it works.
You say just memorize it... But when you boil it down, you are using some sort of method to achieve that. It's like math. Say the problem is 40 x 3.5.... everyone will have a different method of getting the answer in their head. anyway, get a hold of yourself, you're talking nonsense. Let's see if there's even more comments you made...
