His positioning is definitely world class, the runs he makes were on point, and all because of a penalty he missed LVG got rid of him. I’m sure he could do better than Lukaku.

apart from promoting rashford and buying martial (though on gigg's advice), everything done by LVG was destructive to the club
Overrated player , better than lukaku? You just made me laugh so hard , chicharo was never a top player , the first season in leverkusen was the only season he played good , other than that he was in the bench the whole time
Amaury Agraz at the time I posted this, Lukaku had the worst touch out of all premier league strikers. After he gained weight for World Cup, he lost his agility and he was never the Lukaku who was considered the second Drogba again. So yeah, I’m still certain Chicharito would do better than Lukaku back then.

I don't think he will do as well as he did in other leagues. The level of his teammates to understand his movement won't be as accurate and he will be given less chances at goal.

Esta temporada fue el momento cumbre de Chicharito en su carrera en cuanto a desempeño individual. Fue un error salir del Bayer.

Así es lo corrieron y fue por que en la siguiente temporada le fue mal porque sus compañeros ya no le pasaban el balon. Estuvo bien que se fuera.

@@gilbertopinto7084 porque empezó a decaer, pero no por su culpa sino porque muchos de sus compañeros no les gustaba que chicharito se llevase el crédito en todos los partidos porque en cada semana era la portada de muchas revistas en Alemania, aparte de que no les gustaba que tuviera mejor actuación que Kiessling (leyenda del bayer que no le pudo ganar a chicharito la titularidad) por eso lo vendieron.

@@amauryagraz5842 en la segunda temporada estaba siendo mucho mas determinante que en la primera, su equipo estaba peleando puestos de champions, pero se lesiono, el equipo se vino abajo y corrieron a Roger Schmidt y el siguiente técnico ya no apostó por Chicharito.
Es algo sumamente imbécil llamar tronco a un delantero que ha tenido mejor carrera que jimenez.

En mi opinión esta temporada es de las mejores temporadas de chicharito, estaba a tope con experiencia y buen momento físico y táctico, sin mencionar que ayudo al Bayer Leverkusen terminar en 3 de la tabla dándole opción de champions league.

The idea that Chicharito was simply a goal poacher can't be further from the truth. The man was a goal machine from anywhere. Positioning and awareness on another level. Consistency was his biggest fault, but no doubt he was a great striker.

El problema con chicharito no es con jugadores y paises de europa es con lo fans del america que le envidian su carrera futbolistica desde que ferguson va por el a mexico , quieren un referente del america en Europa que sea algo parecido a chicharito. pero chicharito puso la la vara muy alta ,solo dos han triunfado en europa aparte de chicharito :Hugo Sanchez( aunque solo lo hace en la madre patria) y Rafael Marquez que en su tiempo la rompe en Francia y despues Barcelona ,Pavel Pardo no es tan triunfador en Alemania ,Lainez es muy bueno y juega en Betis pero...y Jimenez ahi la llevaba pero le hacia falta mas en equipos de renombre mundial , el Chucky Lozano es otro nivel y tecatito muy bueno pero le falta.

Notice the team culture. He thanks his team mates, either the ones assisting him or dragging other defenders for him, giving him more space to score. It way take time for him to settle in to the attacking third for WHUFC.

Mexican players are a the best thing European players can do. From a talent stand point they’re on par with Brazil and Argentina. But what I mean is that anywhere a Mexican player goes the whole nation of Mexico follows. I remember when Chicha moved to Real Madrid and they literally sold out of his jersey in the first day.
