True artistry! You are a legend Brighde and I can’t wait for the album.
great tune and footage... thanks....😍🥰🙏
Wow Brighde. This is incredibly moving. The soundscape is beyond words. The film, to me, captures what it feels like to become a mother for the first time. Deeply moved. Thankyou. Can't wait for the album.x
Your music fills my heart with so much beauty that it hurts.
AMAZING!
Holy moly - either the video or the track alone would've been amazing, putting them together - this is almost overwhelmingly great! Pre-order placed, and may April 14th come soon!
Mesmerizing-both image and sound.
Never ever listened to Celtic/folk/bagpipe music in my life before but I heard this on bbc radio 2 last night whilst they were playing plainly folk music and now I love this song, not sure what it is but I love it
Twards the middle it makes me think of Colin Stetson.
EDIT: OH, It is Colin Stetson. I guess he's just that recognizable.
Watched/listened to this on my mobile phone, then moved over to larger screen and "proper" speaker system - what a difference, wonderful interweaving of sounds and rhythm!
Love This!!!❤
In love with this music, it speaks to the soul
Truly enchanting and brilliant as ever!
Stunning 🙏
I am liking this alot, in fact the more I listen to it the more I like it. A quite unique sound, never heard the smallpipes teamed up with the saxiphone before, liking the tempo changes and the repetitive almost mediatative phrasing and the pulsing drumming which reminds me somewhat of Native American music. Great production, looking forward to the album being released. The video section of the Cuillins brought back fond memories when I did the traverse in the mid 90's.
Don’t hear the sax. I’m hearing pipe drones but maybe
@@lukekouris3287 Hi, I think it is not obvious because the Sax is not being used as a melody instrument but one to complement the sound of the smallpipe drones. Brighde is playing her C Pipes, so the drones will be tuned to C, G and C. I suspect the Sax is in the complementary key of C. For me it is first most noticable after 1 minute when the Sax changes notes. The simple ornamentation used by Brighde emphasises the tonal quality of the drones which are being complemented by the Sax.
@@MAMDAVEM I'm not sure at all but it sounds like the drone sound here is in F, isn't it?
@@tasmant Brighde usually plays a C Smallpipe which normally has a 2 C and one G drone. However she may have tuned the G to F as an alternative tuning. Difficult to say.
@@tasmant just listened to it again and I agree I think I can hear a F drone.
Deep
Iongantach! Chord seo rium glan agus tha mi gabhail fadachd ris an ath rud agad fhaicinn- leis na beannachdan! :)
Lovely stuff, although my visceral fear of heights means I can't watch the video!
