A note on product links: a lot of my tools are old or second-hand, so I don’t know the manufacturer/supplier, however, if there is something you’d like to know more about, just leave a comment and I’ll see what I can find out for you. Thanks! x
The butterfly die cuts came out beautifully, and all the cards are great, but the flower vase cards took my breath away! Stunning! I also appreciate how you are teaching principles for layout and design. I need help with that-very helpful!
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying the videos. x
All the cards are gorgeous but particularly love the vases - beautiful. Thanks Natalie and have a wonderful day x
I was about commenting that too. The vases turned out so unique and artistic! Who would have thought those "ugly" washis would make this kind of result. Just gorgeous!
Many thanks!
Thank you! x
Ditto! ❤
The vases are my favorites too
Wow!!! I can't believe how beautiful you made all those ugly washi tapes. And to then create those gorgeous cards with them. You truly are a crafting genius, Natalie 🦋
Aww ... Thanks so much! x
I really wasn't sure where you were going with this, but I was pleasantly surprised at the end results. They were all cards to be proud of. It just goes to show how, when you have the skills, an 'ugly' can turn into a swan.
Thank you! :)
WOW, you put so much thought into your you tube presentations.
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to inspire all your followers.
I get quite excited when my you tube chime rings on my phone. Yippee another video from Natalie.

🎉🎉
Wow, thank you!
Those cards are absolutely lovely! Fresh, clean & simple with an interesting blend of colours & patterns. I’ve looked at my washi tape hoard a few times & wondered what to do with them & had difficulty finding ones to go together. But as you’ve shown, you can mix up all kinds of colours & patterns & get some fantastic combos! Thank you for the inspiration 😃
You are so welcome!
The washi tape sitting in your container looked very sad! You gave them a whole new life. Your master board looked terrific and the end result is impressive. Once again thank you, Natalie, for all your inspiration.
Thank you so much, Jan!
These cards turned out gorgeous! I’m truly enthralled at your talent, artistry, technique, and imagination. I’m so happy to watch your videos. Thank you for sharing with us all. 😊
Thank you so much! That's so kind. x
12:34 -- "I'm really pleased with all of these." -- You should be! The composition turned out so beautifully. I would have never thought to paint over washi tape, but the result is just too amazing to avoid. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with all of us. ✨🤩💗
Oh thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the end results. x
I loved how you went from very dark washi tape into Beautiful cards, you share so much inspiration with us all ❤
Thank you! :)
These cards turned out beautiful. Very creative way of using up those washing tapes. Instead of being unattractive designs, by adding the paint, stencil, and gold embossing powder, and then using your different dies, they just turned out beautiful. Will definitely try this in the future. Thank you.
My pleasure! x
Wow love how those flowers look with that washi
Thanks so much 😊
This was amazing to see you transform that set of washi tape into beauty. You have certainly disproved the maxim “you can’t make a silk purse from a sow´s ear”. I really love the cards with the vases and flowers.
Thank you so much!
Your creativity is unlimited!
Thank you!
Those washi tapes are GORGEOUS!!!!
Each to their own!😊
I thought the washi tape project would be a mess, but it made the cutest embellishments! Great idea.
Thanks so much! 😊
Great technique and lovely cards
Thank you! :)
Some lovely cards made with your unloved washi tape ,. A great idea ,,,,xxxxx ❤
Thanks so much 😊
This is why i love your channel because you think outside of the box. My favourite is the Vase card. Thank you for inspiring me once again. Off to look 😳at my stash off washy tape. x
Thank you so much! Have fun. x
I don’t tire tells you how wonderful you are. You’ve created beauty out of not-so-pretty beginnings.
Thank you for the encouragement. :)
Wow these cards are beautiful thank you for sharing this ❤
Thank you! :)
So I sat down with my umpteen rolls of washi tape and after ten minutes, no ugly washi tape. I love it all!
Thanks for the tips and tricks for the treatment of a washi tape background!
My pleasure! x
Brilliant use of all those washi tapes we all have and don't like or use thank you Natalie xx
My pleasure! Thanks for watching. x
I absolutely love this set of cards. What a great gift set they would be. Great ideas. Thanks
Many thanks! x
Love them all! I agree that adding the gold embossing powder. It really added something extra. Adding a bit of white wash added another texture, too. These are things I would not have thought of. Love, how your brain works! 😂
Thank you!
What a masterclass in how to create beautiful cards from so called “ugly” washi tape. Such fun to watch and inspiring too.
I smiled to myself as I recognised 4 of them that I have in my rather large collection of washi tape!
Have saved this to watch again. Tfs.
Best Wishes, Rebecca in Australia 🇦🇺
Many thanks! x
Wow! The piece that you created with the washi tape was so unexpected. Loved it! And then your card designs were inspirational.

Brilliant Natalie, I love using stuff I dont like and turning it into something I love, like this video shows.
Great! Thanks for watching. x
I am more of a painting artist with little to no experience in the crafty side of art. I had no idea there were shape cutting devices like these. And i ADORE what you made with these washi tapes. And the cards turned out so amazing, oh glob. One day I will try this out, it seems so much fun!
thank you so much for sharing your process!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching. x
@artblob, if you get a chance, check out Stacey Park (owner of a crafting store in California), esp. on Saturday morning 8am Pacific time.
She has a 2.5 - 3 hour You Tube video every Saturday Morning where she teaches techniques using various craft products that she then has on sale for the next week.
She's a lovely person.
She has a huge warehouse sale a few times a year where many products are 50% - 90% off the retail price!
She just started her current one this past Monday.
The prices are so low due to her wanting to keep crafting affordable for everyone!
She just became a licensed designer for 3 companies, in addition to owning/running her own local store!
Blessings! :)
Oops, sorry- the store is Scrapbooking Made Simple.

I really enjoyed watching this transformation of unloved washi tapes with added texture and embossing powder bling creation, I was still unsure at this point where this was going but....Wow! I was so lucky the day I found you! Such creativity!
Aww .... thanks so much!
The washing tape looks so feminine with the flowers but the color looks perfect for a man's card because the tapes reminded me of the print on men's ties. The types we used to give my Dad.
Lovely!
Thank you. Great ideas and beautiful cards. I especially like the ones with the vases. So inspirational. 👏😊💕

I admit it... when you started out, I thought the final result would not be my cup of tea. But each layer you added slightly altered my thinking. By the time you showed the completed cards, I was completely convinced that this was a great idea! Well done! 🩷👍👍👍
