- On 25th July 1998 I was lucky enough to fly on Concorde from London Heathrow LHR) to RAF Fairford, arriving during the Airshow. This video from the day shows the check in process, boarding, taxi, take off and landing. The video finishes off with Concorde leaving Fairford. The aircraft of the day was British Airways Concorde G-BOAE. The Captain (Geoff Mussett) was excellent on the day and provided a weath of knowledge through the in flight commentary which was also captured on the video. Enjoy the flight.........
The most beautiful commercial plane ever built ! thanks for the upload.
Concord was in San Diego at brownfield for fun flights
I was there ! ☺
Was you on it I was there only to see it land .
I believe I was too. Didn’t it fly off to Paris or somewhere for lunch later in the day?
Sorely missed. The Queen of the Skies without doubt
Wonderful video 🔥

Exactly 2 years before the magic of concorde died
That's a very interesting way to fly on the Concorde, how much did this cost? It's interesting that they commissioned the flight, one for the enthusiasts
They did loads of charter flights for all sorts of purposes.
Heck, if you think THAT'S exciting, you should've seen the Concorde 'Round-The-World charters that Rex Travel used to offer. The routing was London - New York City - Las Vegas - Kona (Hawai'i) - Nadi (Fiji) - Auckland - Sydney - Kong Kong - New Delhi - Mombasa (Kenya) - Cairo - London.
Passengers could board in London, NYC, or Vegas. All disembarkations were in London. Cost was $126,000 for two people, and you paid the 2-person cost whether you had a guest or not!
It was a repositioning flight for the Fairford air show that weekend, might as well sell tickets for the flight...
Concorde was always my favourite plane, even as little kid
