Hey Phil you can go higher even to nathia gali, lower topa and see if you can get a book a room in airforce base in lower topa. Kalabagh etc are much higher and cooler than murree. The best part is its the same mountain so you just have to get a taxi or lift to these destinations. 1. Murree 2. Nathia gali 3. Lower topa (airforce base) 4. Kalabagh Recommend all these places. As you are in murree might as well see all these

Lol Rob people generally don’t do things like that in Pakistan 🇵🇰 people don’t drink so no bars and men don’t meet / pick up girls randomly outside or in venues like in UK, at least that doesn’t happen so often. Society isn’t built like that in Pak

Please note that Murree has been an old retiring area for military personnels i.e. Officers and lower ranks. You will find old militay buildings and even other installations. So it is quite NOT odd to prevent someone to take photograph in military area.
