- Nicole Comstock reports from Jurupa Valley, where a Riverside County Sheriff's Department deputy was fatally shot Thursday afternoon while attempting a traffic stop on an unidentified suspect. That suspect led authorities on a lengthy pursuit that ended in Norco, where they were also pronounced dead.

Just do happens a well known criminal with a heavy past they funded his release. The criminal went to restaurant shot the waiter 11 times. Miraculously he survived now suing them for paying for his bail. Now all of s sudden these Hollywood elites closed down account. Hmmmm they all just helped an innocent working man get s shot 11 times and that’s ok!

This happened down the street from me and I just can’t even begin to explain the situation that unfolded. So incredibly heartbreaking. I witnessed a bystander gift two officers a folded American flag and they both looked at each other and broke down in tears.

They usually have to review it first for the case since it was a shooting but I imagine in a month or two we might get the video

Never have I seen so much sympathy for the death of a victim the cops kill. Not sure if any cop deserves to rest in peace when they deny peace to families by covering for bad cops. According to the Golden rule they deserve about as much sympathy as they give the innocent unarmed victims they shoot then handcuff and let bleed to death. I can't even remember single time a human expression of concern was on a cops face after they kill. As a black American I think all the time that I hope I'm never in a situation where the cop is trying to make up reasons to kill or hurt me and I have to decide to let them abuse me like I'm a slave or stand my ground and possibly die. Ok so I'm not here to celebrate the death of the deputy or cause pain to his grieving colleagues and family... but can we be honest and acknowledge the urgency and dedication of the department... and also the availability of police officers, investigators, and resources that suddenly increases when a cop gets shot vs how the cops treat regular old working-class people? Seeing that entire pack of emergency vehicles chasing the alleged cop-killer and contrasting it to the response to any other crime... almost seems like a retaliatory operation by a clique/gang rather than a reasoned and appropriately proportional allocation of police resources.

One more innocent officer perished thanks to another soft judge Cara D Hutson placing the killed back on the streets. This judge is indirectly responsible for the death of officer Isaac Cordero.
We need laws and periodic evaluations to assure the judge are doing their jobs properly, instead of going to work to collect paychecks from hardworking taxpayers' money.
We need laws to hold judges accountable for crimes committed by each criminal after they are put back on the streets.
This useless criminal had an extensive criminal history dating back to before 2000, with charges that included: kidnapping, robbery, and multiple assaults with deadly weapons. He was on the streets only because San Bernardino County Judge Cara D. Hutson inexplicably allowed him to be free on bail following his most recent conviction at trial for a violent felony, which was also his third strike. Unless Cara Hutson enjoys seeing innocent people death, I hope has good reasons to sleep after the death of this young officer.

I am sorry for the loss of a law enforcement officer and for a traffic stop. The shooter should have stayed in prison. This an example of a poor system that has to change. There is no law and order or discipline as a result this is what happens. Rest in peace and my condolences to his family.💙

Ever since I was a child and I seen law enforcement I would think wow what amazing people growing up I ran in to law enforcement at a restaurant and felt so proud holding the door open for them and the time I seen a police officer by himself pushing a vehicle across the street to help the person get gas I quickly ran over and asked if I could help which he gladly accepted and shook my hand I felt so proud and the time I was pulled over for having a tail light out and exchanged a respectful conversation and was advised to just get it replaced as soon as possible with no problem and a have a good night sir. We have it so good in this state and country so many good people it really hurts me to hear stories like this. God be with you all.

Definitely tragic and the man needed to be stopped but the amount of police chasing him seems excessive. I would think having that many cops responding would get in the way at some point. Glad they got the guy in the end though.

I actually skipped around various time stamps to run a rough tally. I counted 44 police vehicles in pursuit. I know I missed a few due to the hill and other police cars blocking sight of the vehicles behind them. I'd say 50ish is a fair estimate. Just seems like an insane response from a congestion standpoint. Like you said, at a certain point you're going to start getting in the way.
Imagine killing a cop, and then 50 police cars appear behind you. That S.O.B. should have put his gun in his mouth and saved everybody the trouble.

I and other minorities were targeted, harassed, and had violence used against us from trying to stand up for our rights after being tired of being harassed. Unfortunately the presents of cops have never made a situation better for me only worse. Back the blue until it happens to you.
