I just became aware of Tony's passing when reading last months Optometric Management. Needless to say I was taken aback. Tony was a great mate if I can borrow an Aussie term. Always upbeat. As an Optometric student between 1977-81 I spent my last two years working with Tony, under work study, in his Vision Functions Clinic. Although many a day I would be a guinea pig for Ray in the lab across from the office (4th floor?) Ray, Frank, and I were in at times. Many faces I recognize of Ian, Gunilla, Bernie and Karla. It has been 40 years but I still recall that enjoyable experience. Fair winds and following seas Tony as you will be missed.
