Hey Bailey, I’m soooo glad I found your videos-they’re super helpful! I’ve got a couple of questions for you: 1. What price range would you suggest for sipper glasses? 2. I can only find clear sipper glasses on Printify, but I’m really looking for frosted ones. Do you know any print providers that offer frosted sipper glasses that I could sell on Etsy? Thanks a bunch for your help!
You're welcome and glad they're helpful! :) For pricing, it would depend on if you're doing personalized or not as you could price higher. I always recommend looking at the competition and price accordingly to what the market is pricing. As far as I know, there isn't a POD supplier selling the frosted versions yet. These are available through any wholesale supplier if you happen to be doing them yourself though! :)
Thanks Bailey for another informative video! I have been looking at these glass cans for a while since they are so popular. I really love the bigger one you showed. Would you mind sharing what supplier you used for that glass can.
Hey there Bailey. I was looking at the quality score of 6 on Chill supplier.. .. is this the same glass and it seems like you have had several,,,,, any quality issues? I do know you said the image is secure and wont wash off. What other issues should I consider ? Thank you and i love your skull image.
I currently have a store for digital designs for tumblers, mugs, cutting boards. Sales are slow, but maybe because it's such a small sub niche at the moment, being Christian faith based designs. Anyway, I'm thinking about your DFY group. I have a 2nd store that is inactive. If I join DFY, would you recommend these products being in the current store and just adding them in different sections, or start over with these DFY designs in my 2nd (inactive) store? Thanks so much.
Hi there! I'd recommend just keeping them in a different category on the most active store. With sublimation or UVDTF designs it's hard to see higher volume of sales if just sticking to one style/genre/topic:)
Hi. I’m interested in purchasing your course. In the course, is Kittl the design software used? Would I need to subscribe to their service in order to follow along in your course? I currently use photoshop and occasionally use Canva.
Hi there, You can use whichever design software you'd like and I usually recommend Canva, Kittl, MyDesigns or PS. Lots of members use software other than Kittl in the program.
Thanks for the great video! Can I create a hybrid shop? You would sell the same designs as digital and POD? On your SEO group can I learn how to do Glass jar designs or you are giving ideas for other digital products? As right now I only do ice glass tumblers and some shirts, I would be only interested to learn those
Your tutorials are so helpful and clear. Thank you for making them. This one has inspired me to try these out in my new digital designs shop but I have a quick question. I see several different sizes that sellers use for their 16 oz Glass Can (cup), some with 9.75x5 and others with other dimensions. What is your recommended dimensions for these, in particular for the Libby 16 oz size cup that seems really popular?
Glad to hear that! :) So since I sell my primarily to crafters (an I've personally made these), I make mine at the typical sublimation supplier's size, so 9.5 x 4.75". If you were doing it for POD or to sell to POD owners, I would use Printify's size :)
@@digitallypurposedbailey Hi Bailey! Okay, if you are designing at 9.5 x 4.75 (I keep seeing 9.75 x 5, does it matter?) then your pixels would be 2850 x 1425 which essentially makes the design 300 dpi, right? When someone purchases a Libbey wrap design from Etsy, how are they supposed to print it? In the print dialog box, what should be or not be checked? PDF prints are easy for me to print, but png's have me so confused and I can't get one to print the right dimensions. Thank you.
Printify base cost is so expensive. How much are you selling this for and what is your margin? I buy these cups in bulk for half the price of what Printify is charging for their premium and use UV DTF wrap, making $10 profit for each cup.
I have a question. In the video you state that if someone buys the digital version to make their own Glass cup that those they use are a bit larger than Printifys cups. If we use the template from Printify to create a design to sell do we need to "stretch" it to the larger dimensions the buyer may need or just quote that they will need to in the description of the product? Want to make sure I'm getting the correct size to a possible customer especially if they use another size glass cup. I guess another question would be what would the larger sized dimensions be, if you know? Hope that made sense and thanks for any insight!!
It will just depend if intend on selling them for intended POD usage or crafter's. So mine are a little larger, that way they can go down if a POD user would want to use them. :)
Hey Bailey, I could really use your advice on something. I’ve been planning to sell sipper glasses on Etsy, and I’ve noticed that most sellers have them priced between $10-$18 range. It seems like the top sellers are all in that range too. I love making and selling these, but I’m feeling a bit stuck. Pricing them higher, like over $18, seems too much for this market. I’m a bit confused and would really appreciate any guidance you could offer. Thanks so much!
Hi there! It is difficult to go above the market place average as a newer shop unless you are selling something custom/personalized or you have a very unique design that others are not selling in the space.
@@digitallypurposedbailey Thank you, Bailey. I offer personalized designs and am focused on creating unique, out-of-the-box products. Does this mean I can price my products above the current market rate due to their uniqueness? Additionally, should I consider including other products in my store that don't necessarily align with the sipper glasses but cater to multiple niches and audiences? For example, could I offer a variety of items like sipper glasses, pillows, and candles?
Really enjoy your video tutorials and tips on Etsy and digital products, I have learned alot. Not so much a fan of the background music in your videos, it competes too much with your narrative and makes it hard to focus on what you are explaining.
You can use mock-ups for digital products. If you are using POD it needs to be their exact product mock-up. If you are making it yourself you need to use a picture of your actual finished product.
I'm sorry, but what profanity rule? Myself and thousands of other sellers have always used the real words, and these listings have been up for years...
The glass is cute and all, but stainless steel tumblers decorated with resin & epoxy will always be superior for me, for one simple reason. They don't sweat. Eww.

Amazing video!! Question I noticed you didn’t use the upscale in Kittl is optimizing enough and upscaling is not needed?
Thanks! I haven't had to use it too often...only if the image came out looking a little blurry:)

It is the same one and there wasn't any quality issues, just that it was smaller than the ones I'm used to designing for. Thanks for watching :)

Do you have a custom uvdtf supplier that you can recommend? I'd like to send some images to be made into wraps for these glasses.
I've tried a few suppliers off and on Etsy, and Ninja was by far, the best quality and fastest...here you go! bit.ly/3TrwpjK

Etsy says no mockups, yet everyone is using mockups!?
You can use mockups. It needs to be the exact item you are selling.
