@@chriss8792 i like a few songs i just think the vast majority of them sound boring and the same, the album doesnt really have a cohesive theme outside the production, theres a few gems but most of sounds like basic indie pop radio fodder.
This song brings me back to being a kid and when this song first came on the radio I knew it was weezer and fell in love instantly plus it just pulled the right heart strings
This song is really good. While listening I did get a free accociation psychotherapy vibe. It does actually make sense though to me which is the cool thing.
I heard this song on 94.5 The Buzz last night before going to sleep. I knew the voice of this song sounded familiar, and I was happy to find out that it was by Weezer. I liked the songs "Pork and Beans", "Buddy Holly", "Beverly Hills", and "Perfect", then there's "Island In The Sun"....Also "Beach Boys" #I'minHappyHour😍😘
@@Sliver90 you think beverly hills and perfect situation are good songs? like pork and beans, buddy holly, and iits are pretty good, but bever hills and perfect situation?
I'm guessing he associates upbeat, soulful songs with Lionel Richie. So the song sounds like a Lionel Richie song to him. I kinda hear it that way myself.
So depressing. I idolize Weezer but this is just pain bad and his description of how he wrote it kind of explains why it is such a shallow, hollow song.
glad i stumbled upon this. Pacific Daydream is such an underrated album. One of their best
100% agree, I’m so surprised people bash it’s easily one of my favourite albums by them

LIONEL RICHIE
WE LUV TO SEE IT.
Oh so you are part of the inspiration of this song?? How does it feel to be like part of it? Awesome!!
Of course she was Japanese
Happy Hour is definitely a joy to listen to multiple times. One of the remixes is pretty dope too.
I love the effort that went into animating this 2 and a half minute story time video.
SHE SHOWED ME HER KEYBOARDS! *DIES LAUGHING*
I absolutely love this song. It’s been a fave ever since the release

My most listened song of 2018

bro over half of those songs are like not even good
@@shurbrrt bro, those are good. but it's mainstream. Maybe he/she only knows mainstream weezer songs.
@@Sliver90 you think beverly hills and perfect situation are good songs? like pork and beans, buddy holly, and iits are pretty good, but bever hills and perfect situation?
@@shurbrrt good for mainstream listeners. not for the fans who love deepcuts or B-Sides.
@@Sliver90 not "good", but accessible or radio-friendly or whatever. i wouldn't call beverly hills good.
Very creative. I love it!
Greatest hair of all fucking time!
he had a hair transplant about 4 years ago. he was quite bald.
What did Rivers mean by Lionel Richie at 0:20??
I'm guessing he associates upbeat, soulful songs with Lionel Richie. So the song sounds like a Lionel Richie song to him. I kinda hear it that way myself.
I still get an awkward Dana Carvey vibe from him!
Taylor I do too.
I Love Playing Weezer's "Happy Hour" Song more faster on RUclips. I Change the Setting to 1.25 Record Speed.
Rivers: *mentions he went to another woman’s apartment *
Me: interesting 🤨
Please stop making remixes of happy hour thanks
Lol

Second!! Have nothing else to comment 😂

How is it shallow?
I respectfully disagree. I admire his creative process here. Weezer fans can disagree and still be friends.
America will destroy anything that's truly good. Guaranteed
This song is bad
