Every video i see i am impressed by how good ur tone is! Keep u the good work, super helpful! I find very easy economy picking only descending, ascending is so un natural for me
Great playing in the intro. I had boatloads of trouble doing strict alternate picking. Economy picking always felt more natural to me, especially descending. So I just went with it. Now I use both, depending on what is easiest. I tried the exercise and it is a great introduction to the technique imo. Licks that you can 'loop' are a very useful for focused practice.
Hey same fr me except i made the habit of decending alternate except when having to start a lower string with a down stroke in some cases . Its weird when u become aware of what yr actually doing but spending time on these things is really helpfull . Well for me it is anyway
Its the decending economy i have to work on . Iv been really targeting that in every way i can think of ie 2 note 3, 4 . Per string etc. I didnt realise i aready use evonomy a lot acending untill after a few yrs . Good lesson
Really starts @4:15
thanks
Thats a nice looking guitar!!
That was a clear and concise lesson with 2 very good examples of how the technique works.

What about luxury picking?
6:57 *plays one of the tastiest licks I've ever heard off the dome* "Bad example, that didn't sound great"
FFS get to the point. I don't want your life story...just show the technique.
Great lesson but I have to mention: adjacent is pronounce a(d)h-jay-cent where the D is nearly silent.
MetalAllDayAllNight Great comment but I have to mention: “pronounced” is spelled p-r-o-n-o-u-n-c-e-d. The D is not silent.
@@coaldoubt2879 that was amazing

I thought it sounded great! 😃
Curious are those the berylliums in that guitar?
Nice Kiesel, David. Looks good on ya, :)
tremenda explicasion saludos desde venezuela
I always thought economy picking is natural and alternate is awkward especially if you have to start a lower string on a upstroke.
It definitely is not super natural at first. It becomes very natural after a while though!
Primero
Intro mix is off. Lead guitar is buried.
