I’ve lost both of my children, a 2 1/2 year year-old 22 years ago and a 27-year-old two years ago after a long brain cancer fight. Between those losses, I went through a great deal of trauma with family of origin and an actual natural disaster and community trauma of a shooting that killed two. It’s been a level of grief I could never have imagined, even after losing one child. It’s so much greater than what I went through with our toddler. Within months of losing our last one, our marriage took a nose dive, and it’s been in freefall since, with only brief leveling off, only to plunge downward again, resulting in a far uglier divorce than I ever could’ve imagined after 35 years. As things neared the bottom, I got a puppy and I named her Joy. I don’t understand how I haven’t died of a broken heart. Yesterday, I told the Lord and others in my life that I couldn’t take it anymore. So I will say this with Faith that the Lord has broken through on my behalf.

My Testimony: I am 16 years old and chose to start a relationship with God a few weeks ago. I don't exactly remember my breakthrough but I was REALLY struggling with a porn addiction and especially with my mental state back then. This is my testimony too, my husband is on drugs and as you I lost me. We are now separated, I rededicated my life back to Jesus because I was carrying his burdens too. I heard God's spirit speak to me that I must move out of God's way. My eyes opened and now I surrendered to God's Will. Our will isn't God's Will, I love my husband isn't going to cause me to go to hell because my sister I dreamed about it and the turn around point isn't offered to everyone. I had been seeking "the universe", and when I realized that that space is so large, how could I know what would answer back when I called into it, I started praying to "Mr Wizard" so as to focus my prayers.... Within months of losing our last one, our marriage took a nose dive, and it’s been in freefall since, with only brief leveling off, only to plunge downward again, resulting in a far uglier divorce than I ever could’ve imagined after 35 years. I had been seeking "the universe", and when I realized that that space is so large, how could I know what would answer back when I called into it, I started praying to "Mr Wizard" so as to focus my prayers.... After 2 or so weeks of consistent prayer, i said "dear mr wizard" and I heard God speak so clearly in a warm, amused voice, "You know my name, child. Remember me and be loved."
And so I let it in. I recieved. The warmth and peace I have found in his love is outstanding.
