Why didn't they just make the miniature game using gunpla miniatures that don't require paint? Gunpla are also posable AF so would be far easier to customize!
@@stellaai-vtuber miniature building is another hobby and lots of gundam fans also like it. Plus the figures are a little big to be carrying around to different places while miniatures can be moved around pretty easily

I'd probabaly get the miniature game over their card game especially when the rule set becomes available in English online, unlike their card game that is only locked in Japanese in Southeast Asian countries that obviously don't read or speak Japanese
hey i have an idea why don't you make a gundam miniture game and see which one makes more money, i would rather put together and paint and play than to open packs to get what i need.
Not like they have bazillions of dollars and multiple wildly successful TCGs right now or anything, plus the license to injection-mold money that is Gunpla.
That's nice but this game really needs an online simulator to survive, especially globally where most people don´t know other gundam fans in real life to play with.
And what's a collaboration. Will we be getting some bundle with starter deck and its corresponding mini? Or its just "wow you can place mini on top of your card" 😂
Good god I know they are building the arena like build fighters and this is just one of they way to collect money for it but goddamn this would not be as great as Warhammer it would if they are a 3D arena projecting the stuff we place on the arena
The problem with these "play with figures on a tiny board" may be popular in Japan due to limited room, but western wargamers want to see an army out there. This might end up like Navia Dratp which was also by Bandai. We want gundams and mobile armors and bunches of zakus and GMs to chew through. What fun is having Amuro if you don't have 6+ Zaku to chew through. Give us bunches of mooks too. Make it play on a 2m x 1m board

a lot more battletech fans will probably hop on! i love battletechs grounded style but this might encourage me to finally take the plunge into gundam

@siramariella I saw that, that one has minis on hex bases, the one s here have round bases similar to what games workshop uses.
The game uses a hex play field, so likely hex, but you can glue them onto anything you want
