OostendorpMusic ohh . I just got mine today and believe me it does not look like an entry level piano at all. I wonder what will happen when i connect this to studio monitors👍🙏🏻
I haven't checked out any of your other videos but I just came across this one, and I like your demo! If you could do this for a Yamaha CVP 605, that would be amazing!
Piano sounds are really good, full and gentle. In my opinion that's the best sounding gear in this price range. By the way, can anyone tell me the name of the first part? 0:05 - 0:45, it's beautiful and touching.
I tested the ES100, Roland FP30, Yamaha P45/115, Privia PX160 and although they all have their perks, I walked away with the ES100. It is every bit a wonderful DP and the keybed action/touch and sounds are great!
I hope your daughter enjoys the ES100 :) Actually it's better than just a starter piano. The Kawai features great action and piano sample.. Don't let the price make you feel you're buying anything less. I've played keyboards that are $2k and the ES100 is every bit a keyboard like the more expensive models.. Cheers!
Thanks Christoph, I was definitely looking for something that could carry her through til we could justify a higher end instrument but not something cheap. She plays in public locally about once a week at open mics, etc. Looking forward to its arrival!
You're welcome, Kim and you'l be pleased with the ES100. Try not to justify a keyboard by it's price. Being a writer/producer, I've tried keyboards 3 times the price and wasn't satisfied with the action and their main grand piano sample. Many of the digital pianos may be more expensive but that's because of the stock sounds, which most of the people don't use anyway. Kawaii is a excellent brand and she'll make good use if it.
That's a good question. The other keyboards I've mentioned are also really nice. At the end of the day, for me, it was all about feel and key action. Feels really natural. The Privia PX160 has a lovely action but a little to heavy. I didn't quite like the feeling of the Yamaha P45/115. I believe it was the key "bounce up" feeling but may be ok for you. The Roland FP30 is nice but a little key heavy for my taste (not as much as the PX160)... so in the end, I went with Kawai. Great company, amazing company support and top notch sounds. What I would suggest is going over to your local music store and trying out as many of them as possible. Cheers!
hi why is it that when i play on my kawai piano,on higher keys like f6 and higher, the sound is sustaing eventhough im not using sustain pedal.what should i do?thanks

Hi! I've seen that you have proved this piano and the yamaha p-115 b, which one do you like best? And which one do you recommend to buy??
