On a Lathe if you had some round stock and you needed to bore a hole that was more to 1 side ( as in not center) can you alter the Jaws on the chuck to do this?
As a machinist i can say yes you can do this its called off center turning (eccentric turning). You can either make them or order in the equipment to do it. Truthfully its faster to do it on a mill
