US-281 have really been experiencing a series of progression, especially north of Loop 1604, I-37 have one of the best views of San Antonio. Overall, nothing much you can ask for except for an refurbishment of the I-410 interchange with I-37.
San Antonio has a great highway system that's easy to follow and get around. 2 loops 410/1604 and directional hwy spokes going to each corner of the city. With a downtown loop formed by those highway's, 10/35/37 meeting
Now if my hometown of Austin could take lessons on the road system like San Antonio! The biggest issues San Antonio had for years was Loop 1604 south of Bandera Rd. when it was a 2 lane highway in the 90’s.
@@jondstewart San Antonio is years ahead of Austin in that sense, by the time that Austin catches up San Antonio will have an even more efficient highway system given all the improvements being made now in SA.....at least Austin has an actual metro rail though, although it barely has any coverage
