Mise en scène respectueuse, interprètes et orchestre exceptionnels, sous titrage en français, prise de son et vidéo parfaites, quel bonheur vraiment Merci ❤
1. What is Lohengrin's only weakness? 2. What is the real reason Telramund went to kill Lohengrin in the Act III? 3. For what reason did Lohengrin have to marry Elsa? 4. When was the duel between Lohengrin and Telramund? 5. If it is said that Lohengrin's victory in the fight is based on "God's judgment", then what is "God's judgment" based on? 6. Why does Ortrud think that Elsa will suffer her own consequences? 7. Lohengrin can refuse anyone's question, but why can't he refuse Elsa? 8. Where does Lohengrin's divine power come from? Where does the power to keep a secret come from? 9. Lohengrin accused Elsa of betrayal because of being bewitched, so what specific aspects of Elsa's bewitching are manifested? 10. What is the only reward that Lohengrin is willing to sacrifice for Elsa?
There’s nobody like Puccini. He’s the best in my book. I love all the great ones, Verdi, Wagner and the others but for me it’s Puccini who communicates the cry of the human heart with the greatest genius.
The one they are ultimately mocking is Wagner himself. They loathe the man, but the music is of such quality that they know it must be performed. So they denigrate, mock, belittle, or make foolish as much as they can.
I'm glad I read your comment. I hate it when an artistic director thinks they're too good for the classics. I watched a production of Madame Butterfly recently where the cast did everything opposite to the words. They sang, "I hold you close to my heart" while holding each other at arm’s length.
Vždy kdy slyším předehru k Lohengrinu v tomto podání echt Němce Christiana Thielemanna, představuji si divadlo plné německých vojáků při posledním povzbuzení před zítřejším odjezdem na Východní frontu.
Wonderful production and video!!

the staging is a mock towards the music, the musicians and the conductor on stage and in the pit. shame!
@HKw66 Entschuldigung Ric...aber die Direktorin ist deine Urenkelin Katharina!

Great to have a voice like Beczala, for the rest I prefer the Neuenfels performance.
Really? With the lab rats?
Piotr singt, sogar mit Höhe, andere Stars unserer Zeit knödeln ...

Thank you 🙏

PS The audio/volume is too low!!!!!!

Das war fast zu schön für Bayreuth
Wegen der Kakerlakenkostüme?
What, for God's sake, is it supposed to mean?
It’s about a doomed relationship and about trust and loyalty
@@talkson2824 And the fuzzy green guy is...?
@@benschroth7717 oh, I thought you meant Lohengrin in general, I’m sorry that I don’t yet know
La pobre Elsa parece la novia de Frankenstein.
Yes, what's with the fairy wings?
Horrible production. I prefer the one with the mice and the alien looking baby at the end.
