I have been saying and advocating for attaching parental responsibily to the crimes these teenages committ. As the parent you are facilitating the teens bad behavior. Maybe, the teens used your gun that you failed to secure, or maybe, they used your car you failed to set limits upon. People are tired of this irresponsible behavior of both the child and the parent. You can not continue to wash your hands of any accountability for bad parenting.
Exactly! Just like they did in one of the other states recently. The kid had the parents gun and did a shooting, and they charged the parents with it too. We really need to take up that policy here. Our liberal DA would never let that happen though. The parents need to be charged with the same exact charges and more for being piss poor parents.
