I've been reading some of the comments here and I find it cute how the very concept of university has been romanticized in the heads of people (aspiring applicants especially) through movies like 3 Idiots. Let's get one thing straight. Reality is far different from what you see in movies. University isn't going to do you any favours. It will certainly give you a stage to present/ express yourself. However, change comes from within. The university you see in movies doesn't show you the big picture. Life is huge and full of opportunities. Don't limit yourself and your abilities to the acceptance of one institute alone, even if it's Harvard.
This happens to everyone. The academic life is not reality. The reality and practical life is very very different from our university campus. In academic life things are in structured way but in real and practical life everything is unstructured. Merit alone cannot help us in practical life. Luck also plays a huge role in practical life. Earning money is not so easy as it looks.

It is not fault of NUST if we are not move on from University. It happens to everyone. It is bitter reality of life. It hurts. I can relate with u completely. Feeling same. Even though i am not from NUST. But it happen to every body. its completely fine. I know there is emptiness. But every thing will be fine after sometime.
Everyone try at their level best to get admission in NUST, because NUST is lumber 1 xD

Dear, we all have a downtime after graduation, but you need to get over it. Indeed NUST was the best part of our lives and we can never achieve that high time again, but life goes.
Understandably that's the only thing to do. It takes more time for some. Hoping all goes well.

I think the title should've been
" Disadvantages of being an extrovert"
I myself am an introvert, I passed those 4 years alone, I used to get anxious and depressed at times for not having any company, but now I'm actually very content... There are not many happy moments in those 4 years I spent in NUST.
In the end, everybody has fair share of good and bad moments I guess 🤷🏻♀️

Nonetheless, I am glad you feel confident now. It's definitely not the same for everyone, but life goes on.

@@jocelynemeangirl Umm you really shouldn't relate your success with anything or anyone except yourself. Nust or any other university will not spoon feed you to get to that success you are imagining at the moment. If you are passionate about your dreams and willing to work hard then you'll definitely be there one day for sure. If I tell you my experience then I'll say just about that Nust made my university life a bit merrier compared to what other universities could have done. It filtered out all the unnecessary drama and there was plenty of time to enjoy those 4 years. Also I would say that you really should make some friends there.. life and studies are gonna be so hard all alone. Try to be at ease and you'll be just fine Insha Allah ❤️. @@dunkableswell you said nust or any other university isn't going to spoon feed you success but I'm sure you could say that it ATLEAST helped you out in finding a career? Or it helped you excel in the field you wanted to choose? Right??? Because if not, then i dont see a reason for someone to join a university

Kept msging u over my inquiry about nust seecs electrical but u never replied. I wanted to know about the job opportunities and salary of electrical engineers. Khair, I was selected in seecs electrical but I didn't opt for it.
I hope, whatever decision you took, turns out to be a good one in the long run and all the best with it.
Linkedin is the best source for searching up NUST alumnus and electrical engineers or any other field for that matter. As for salaries, they range from 25-125k, averaging around 60-70k in general.
