You've given me a good idea! I could use the same book for a bullet journal and notebook and use stickers to separate them. That way the bullets and notes would be neatly separated in evernote. Thanks Steve!
Thanks for helping me...I am into Genealogy and hope to use this for my note-taking in the Archives Libraries...keep the info coming...I will surely need help!
Hey Steve, just want to say a big Thank You for this wonderful video about Evernote Moleskine Notebook. I recently got one of these and had completely no idea about how to use it. Your tutorial is WAY BETTER than Evernote's and I have just subscribed to your channel.
It does work. Very easy to use. All you do is take a picture of your notebook using the app camera. Thanks for finding the key for the stickers. I couldn't find it anywhere!
That three month bonus is what makes it worth buying. 32.00 is the most I've spent on notebooks but it's worth it in some cases. Plus Moleskine is actually a really good notebook anyways.
This was incredibly helpful. Thanks so much! I'm a huge fan of both Moleskine and Evernote so this seemed likely to be a successful marriage. I'm looking forward to using the planner for 2015 so I bought it today only to find instructions, in particular on how to use the stickers, glaringly absent. You came to the rescue. Thanks again! E and M should thank you profusely for saving them the trouble.
First off - great review. You are very fun and make me not feel like a dope for being as unsure about how to use (or if to even buy) the Evernote Moleskine notebook. Now I get how it works and whether I want it to not. Small note for you: Moleskine is Italian and is pronounced "MOl-e-SKEENna." I made the same mistake until corrected about 5 years ago (when I started using their notebooks - which I LOVE!). Keep up the good work. I'll be watching more of your videos for sure!
Thank god you included the screen where you put in the promo code. I was trying to figure out where I could upgrade my account as the information in the notebook I have doesn't include the url!
Dang it! I was going to ignore Evernote/Moleskine, but you've convinced me to take a look! Great video review and nice format - I really enjoyed the content, the music and your whimsical and not-whiningly-acerbic style! Great job!
Great video! It is informative and fun. You made me giggle a few times and I'm still on the fence with buying one, but only because I don't know how much I would specifically use it. I really look forward to keeping up to date with your channel. Fantastic job! PS I like how you called them out on including the silly History of Moleskin in the pouch. You're absolutely right, no one cares and no one should be made to feel like they have to care.
Hi Steve: This is a blast from the past. This is Margaret from Paint Your Wagon (1985) and Guys and Dolls (1983?). This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you. I love Evernote and was so happy to discover it when I started my doctoral research in 2012. Now I'm embarking on another venture - learning Spanish - so am happy to find new tools to use. But I don't wanna physically take a photo of every page of my notes so may just use the Moleskine with its accompanying app which loads the notes into the app without the need of manually taking a photo (I think I've understood that correctly). Of course I have to spend more money to buy the camera pen. And I might not like the feel of that pen - I'm very particular about what pen to use. Still, thank you for your explanation. Very clear and very helpful. Will definitely subscribe. All the best.
Agree. Actually, on second thought, the pens are so expensive, I decided to go without them and try the manual photo route first. Will let you know how I fair.
Steve, I love your videos! They're well organized, clear, to the point. You're the gold standard, IMO. Problem is, you're above my pay grade, digitally speaking. I love the idea of Evernote, and downloaded it about a year ago, but haven't really mastered it. I'm the type who reads manuals & follows instructions, so the fact that most apps have no or minimal instructions, I'm usually at a loss. Can you recommend an old school thing like a book or tutorial that explains Evernote to a newbie like me? And thanks again for all the great videos!
Thanks so much Anges I'm not sure which book to recommend, the problem with books and apps it is, the apps change faster than they're able to publish the books.
Your video made me rethink about buying a Moleskine. I do take notes on a lot of notebooks; some lecture notes well documented, others lying around somewhere. If one notebook is good for combining different lecture subjects and topics, that is a plus for me. I also learn new languages that require me to draw tables which I can't do on the app.
+Bien Crafts They keep coming out with new versions as well, The concept of taking your longhand notes into Evernote does not NEED to de through Moleskine,, but it is a good option.
+dottotech I spent so much time looking into this and I decided not to buy it. I'm living in Malaysia and I have to consider shipping costs and how much the currency has dropped tremendously. I'm trying to figure out alternatives.
I have been using the notebook + evernote method for about a year. It is fantastic especially if you have a lot on the go and need to actually use your notes. If you tinker a bit you can get items you write down in your notebook in to trello via evernote, ifttt and trello email to board functionality.
Welcome to the club. I am addicted! I actually use it as a diary (the calendar) so I have my handwritten diary all digitised and all I need to do is alocate reminders... Cool cool cool.
Helpful video. Love your blog. Now this year, Moleskine has one with a weekly planner.Any new info on the interface with this new format and Evernote? A new video from you would be great?! Since I already have a very detailed week at a glance vertical format to keep track of patient appointments every 45 minutes, I won't use the left side as a calendar per se. I think I'm gonna use the left pages to keep track of daily "to-dos", a la Franklin Covey prioritized task lists. But not sure if I should use one of the many mobile apps for this? I'm one of those former detailed "paper planners" trying to figure out how to go digital. Even using a digital calendar is a pain but because the syncing hasn't worked well and it takes more time to input something than jot it down. Ideas? - from a Canadian ex=pat who is selling their practice and home and moving back to Canada in June, so I have a lot to organize!!
Really useful (and entertaining) video Steve. You've just saved me a bunch of time figuring out how to implement those stickers. Still no instructions with the notebooks.... Thanks!
That's a great video, thanks so much. I prefer the Livescribe pen (and I'm sure others are available) - take notes, sync, highlight the pages on your device and send them straight where they need to be in Evernote (or OneNote and no doubt others). It's expensive at the point of purchase but over time the gains in productivity are huge. I stress that as a journalist and writer I more or less live or die by my notes so it's been worth the investment, I wouldn't advocate the spend unless your notes are *very* important to you. That said, I forgot to charge it the other day...maybe I should look into the Moleskine and stickers option!
Interesting video. I tend to use Evernote to capture random ideas and notes, and I type them in. I'm currently looking for a way to digitize ideas that I've sketched out. It would be nice to be able to convert the sketches to vector files so I can import them into Corel Draw and refine them. If I wanted to skip the vector conversion, I could digitize my sketches for free by just using a scanner app on my phone, or the Evernote camera app, my existing Moleskine notebook and/or any other notebook. The Evernote system you describe won't permit vector conversion of sketches, and it seems it's aimed more towards people who want to create their own personalized day-planner system and journal (ergo the stickers). The only solution I know of that will do what I want is Moleskine's Smart Writing Set, which lets you edit images after capture and turn them into vector files, although I'm sure there are other smart pen solutions out there that do the same. The only problem is, the Smart Writing Set is fairly pricey at $250CAD, although Moleskine do throw in a notebook that is designed to work with the pen.
Hi Steve, how do you get your videos to look so professional? How did you create the back ground and the view of your phone will you ninety teddy. A truly clean and classy channel.
+Recardo Fonseca here is a link to a webinar I hosted on how I create my videos www.dottotech.com/screencasting-sectrets-webinar-opt-in-page-2/ Thanks for the kind comments!
I'd be interested in you doing a review of Rocketbook Everlast because you are a good and honest reviewer. I think it is better but it is more expensive.
Lover your work Steve. With apologies to Mr. Limbaugh, I've become a Dottohead. I'm wondering if you prefer this method to Livescribe? I don't always have a need to record audio at the same time so this method seems like much more bang for the buck.
What's this? What's this? a second DottoTech video in the same day? Oh, boy! Careful! I could get used to this :-) Awesome review on the Evernote+Moleskin combo. And, you're right. Using the stickers is not that obvious, both from the Moleskin notebook and the Evernote app. Two other features, or characteristics, I've found out about the Molesking; and not from documentation, have to do with the separator and the printed dotted lines on the pages. Supposedly, the Evernote camera uses the page separator to identify the edge of the paper (be it right or left side) so it does a better job at triming the image. Also, the printed dotted lines are made that way for the camera. I'm not too clear on how it is better but the folks at Evernote say it is. I don't know if I would get a Moleskin since I am on the road to becoming paperless; maybe I would get it just to toy around with it; and get those Evernote premium months! In any case, I don't know if they actually sell it here in Tijuana, Mexico. I would need to go to one of the big international places to see if they have them there. Again,, great video!
Moleskine is awful with instructions. Question: If I put the ACTION sticker next to a to-do-list, for example, can I get Evernote to set a reminder when it sees an ACTION sticker?
I hate taking notes, but this could come in really handy. I haven't had much time with my Evernote app yet, but I am learning how valuable it can be thanks to you. And I will use my Amazon account to get the notebooks. Maybe we could also talk about your videos. How you edit them and such. Sure it's a green screen effect, but what do you use for editing, Camtasia?
Mike Beaumont Hey Mike, I use Screenflow on a Mac, but I have a new webinar planned for next week on Screencasting and how I produce my videos. Keep your eyes open, details soon!
Great video. If you could answer my question, that would be awesome, thanks. I put two stickers on one page, each associated with a different tag and different notebook. When captured to Evernote, both tags are picked up correctly, however the image is only put in the one notebook associated with the uppermost sticker. Is it possible to have the same capture put in two Evernote notebooks?
+Geekanoids I am not sure, I would take this to the Evernote support forum, I can see where the challenge is in this scenario, sorry I can;t help more!
I have one of the "Business" Moleskine/Evernote notebooks (it has a section on the bottom that can be 'private' and so is ignored when taking a photo, also has a square at the top that you can check to automatically include a reminder when processing the pag). Problem is, it doesn't work, not even a little. Using an Android 6 Samsung Galaxy. Instead of processing the screen as a document (even when I tell it it's a document, which they say it can recognize automatically), none of the features work, not the notebook sorting, not the tagging, not teh handwriting-to-OCR-searchable text, nada. FWIW, you don't need a branded notebook for any of this, they claim the branded notebooks have 'lines' that help the camera recognize that it's a document to be processed, but it certainly doesn't work like that on mine. It'd be a great set of features, if it worked. For more information, I also >rarely< get the Post-It notes to work, but they sometimes do at least. The stickers and 'smart' notebook, nope, never.
Does it really save time to have to locate the stickers, peel them off, and stick them, rather than tag them in Evernote as you snap the pictures? Seems like a one touch tag interface like google inbox that appears right after you photograph it would be faster. And the stickers are limited in number, easy to lose, limited to a small range of options of very specific designs/functions (as opposed to generic colored circles that could be more flexible in terms of meaning/function), and seem fussy and puerile. I think all the following would be far better - Allow users to write custom tags on the page using the text recognition, or even symbol recognition - detect different color inks and highlighters - touch-to-tag on mobile device immediately after snapping a photo This is just gimmicky.
Steve, Great video. I went to my locate Office Supply store and their Moleskine Notebooks had no stickers. Obviously their is an Evernote specific Moleskine Notebook. Also, does this work on regular paper tablets?
Dave Hoadley The automatic tagging does not work without their stickers. , Amazon has the MoleSkine Evernote version, and I found mine at a local reseller...
I have not seen the stickers anywhere else for sale, they provide enough to probable see you through the use of one notebook. Brad Smith I image they would work anywhere
From what I have read on Evernote's message boards, they will only work with Moleskine books. Something about the paper + sticker combo. Others have gotten them to work from time to time with other paper, but not every time, unfortunately. And Moleskine produces the stickers, so they are apparently not doing them separately at this point. My guess is so you are FORCED to purchase one of their books.
dottotech That is what I read too, after doing some research. Apparently the dots on the page tell the scanner that this is, in fact, a Moleskine book. Unless it sees the correct pattern of dots, it won't let the stickers function. Kinda cheesy...but I see what they are wanting to do. They want to make sure that no one can create the same system simply by duplicating some stickers. Between having to have the correct stickers, and needing the correct paper, 'hacking' your way around the Moleskine/Evernote book becomes not worth the time.
Brad Smith It is only a matter of time before you'll be able to buy Evernote stickers. I'm thinking it would be hugely convenient to have some along the lines of "Action required", "Bill", or "Archive". I can also see a scenario where a spouse, assistant, or coworker could scan something into a shared notebook and have it tagged automatically. Oh the possibilities! Combine these with digital smart-pen and we're making notes without scanning/photographing out notes.
Robin van der Basch I think that is the case, they include enough stickers to see you through one notebook, in their opinion. Contact Moleskine directly if you are short....
Very useful video, as always. @ 7:24 you go to the "camera option on the phone". Is this within the Evernote app or using the camera option? Regardless of which I use, I am not seeing what you show (i.e. the 'document" and 'business card' options). I get the option of selecting how I want to save it inside Evernote after I take the picture but would prefer to see what you have. iOS 9.2.1, Evernote app updated
Ah, yes, I see the option after you take the image. I've had Evernote for a few years but only recently went Premium and really started "using" it and have been pleased to find your resources.
Someone somewhere failed to do his job with explaining the stickers/tags in the moleskin notebooks. It quite evident that it's a feature that should've came with instructions, especially since the feature is buried deep in the settings menu. My question now is does evernote require the specific colored icon stickers or will any similarly colored stickers do the same task of filing in specific notebooks in the evernote app?
***** I agree completely! Moleskine should put a short instruction sheet, or at the very ease a link to an instruction page! (heck they could link to my video if they can't make their own!) As to the "similar color sticker" i somehow doubt it, but i have never tested it, if you find similar stickers and test it let us know the results!
dottotech Excellent video and while we are on the subject other stickers, I also received one additional sticker page that says "Adhesive Tabs" (3 colors: Peach, Green, and Gray with three of each color. I have no clue what that would be used for -- ideas?. There are also two white "Spine Labels" that seem to be the right width to wrap around the notebook spine. Great guess hugh, "spine label" would be used on the *spine*. "Adhesive labels"...... ??
Steve, I am following along and when you "take the picture", I am not offered the 'document' option. When I take the snapshot, I also do not get the sticker option that you do in this video. I only had 'home' as one sticker on the photo, but still "HOME" did not come up as an option. It put it in my INBOX notebook and not in my Moleskin Notebook. Is there something I am missing?? TIA!!
Thinking about getting one of these for university do you think it would help I plan to use evernote for my note taking application, is it worth the extra cost?
according to 6:39- looks like you can change the name of that smart sticker this could be useful or i could just put regular notes/post it notes and tag them later. (9:05-9:17) but the premium membership is nice
When you talk about digitizing your notes every night - do you save them by date? For example, would I save each date as a separate note in Evernote? How do you organize that?
Question. How do you get the value of the 3 months free service, if you are already an Evernote yearly subscriber? I ask because I just paid for a year a month ago...darn it!
I think they might give you points with which you can buy EN premium time next time you need it. that's what happened to me in the same situation after buying the Fujitsu EN Scanner ScanSnap.
It's a good deal IF you plan to pay for premium anyway. If you would otherwise be a free user then it's pretty expensive. I'm a free user 9 or 10 months out of the year, paying for a premium month only occasionally when I bump up against my free limits. Also, I prefer the notebooks from ecosystems that are very similar to moleskines, but all the pages are perforated, not just the last few. I wish we could just buy the sticker separately at a reasonable price.
Wouldn't it be more cost effective to get the stickers separately and then use a cheaper notebook/moleskin? Seeing inside the notebook might change my opinion but this seems way overpriced for what it is and feels a little like an infomercial.
The history of mull skin is included in every morgan book, it is one of the most historic note taking box in history and has been responsible for the creation of many famous text... As with instructions for this cover there is an abundance of instructions and instructional video on the evernote site
I am sure there must be, but I did not see any on my visits, and I did look for them! I just think they could have included some of those instructions in the Notebook! I suppose I came of a bit snarky, with the comment (more for humour than any other reason) but I do think they could be far more forthcoming with instructions! Thanks +Ada Brown
can we get the stickers without using the moleskin? I am trying a new thing. If you use the Pilot Frixion eraseable ink pen then when your notebook is full you can then capture all the info in evernote and then if you microwave the notebook (include a mug of water during the 'nuke') all the ink in the notebook disappears giving you a fresh new notebook. the pages will still have some indentation but I am willing to give it a try. But don't have stickers to re-use. Any thoughts?
I don't like your videos especially with evernote content your using up all my free time lol. I'm kidding you know eh. I stumbled across one of your videos on 5 favorite evernote features never herd of it was using one-note. Now I'm hooked on your channel and evernote keep them coming you do a great job thanks.
Yes I am glad, hope you know my comment was meant as a joke I enjoy all your videos. I've learned alot about evernote & g-mail your the reason i switched from onenote Thanks again & enjoy your fishing trip. When you return could you do a video on livescribe 3 compared to the moleskine notebooks?
Do you actually reply to every comment? I'm gaining more respect for you by the day, I better watch your inbox zero video lol. Livescribe 3 is more costly then the moleskine notebooks but their notebooks allow your handwritten notes to be converted to text notes in evernote, so I'm on the fence on which to purchase then there's jotscript by evernote, to many choices thought you'd be the best one to figure it all out for us viewers, do you need an intern or assistant I wouldn't mind helping you out.
Robert Reed I read every comment and reply to as many as I can, at our current size it is manageable, and I get a lot of good feedback! Here is my fear with the Livescribe, I loose pens, and it is an expensive pen! Notbooks on the other hand I almost never loose. I like having the notebook with me, and it is not that expensive when you consider you get 3 months of premium Evernote with the purchase. But both are great technology options!
so its a paper notebook- there is nothing special about the paper- and you can take a pic put into your evernote- (??) just like any kind of notebook... so I don't get it - its just a paper notebook,...
Have you checked out the other types of notebooks available on their site? There's one that has thicker pages for those types of pens. Tell me what you think.
An attention-grabbing talk is worth comment. I believe that you should write extra on this matter, it might not be a taboo subject however usually people are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
Thank you for your videos by the way, it seems we share the same passions. I too am very involved in making my workflow more organized and logical. I get a huge kick out of it. May I ask you something that has been on my mind since the first video I saw? You seem to be very experienced in different apps and a true power user. And yet you re stuck with iOS instead of Android? How is that possible? I am sure I am not the first person to ask you this, sorry if you get that a lot. But still I am very interested. You see, I used both for several years. I sincerely can't see how a modern technically developed person can stick with the iPhone. The difference is too drastic.
LOL Daniel Korolev I use the iPhone more because it is easy for me to demo in my videos, No easy way to capture Android screens, it is as simple as that!
Thanks, Steve! You bring real enthusiasm to your presentation, and you keep it useful without too much patter about minimally relevant side issues.
You've given me a good idea! I could use the same book for a bullet journal and notebook and use stickers to separate them. That way the bullets and notes would be neatly separated in evernote.
Thanks Steve!
David Munro I was thinking the same thing. How did it go?
Brill explanation - I finally understand how to use the stickers now.
Really nice description Steve.Such a nice explanation of stickers. For long time I was looking for such a video in non tech language!
Thanks for helping me...I am into Genealogy and hope to use this for my note-taking in the Archives Libraries...keep the info coming...I will surely need help!
Thanks for your honesty in review. Just what I needed to learn.

That is awesome Jeffrey Chun Yin Lau Thanks so much for sharing the comment with us!
God, this guy is so charismatic...
Why thank you!
We enjoyed several of your videos this morning and subscribed. Some folks are gonna hate, keep doing what you do. ~a
wow! I'm amazed. Thanks for the super-explanatory vid! I had the same problem of not knowing what the stickers were for!
Louie Neira I wish they had some better instruction in the package, but hey, it creates a market for my videos so who am I to complain!
It does work. Very easy to use. All you do is take a picture of your notebook using the app camera. Thanks for finding the key for the stickers. I couldn't find it anywhere!
Adora2008 Glad you like it. And the bonus is 3 months of Evernote Premium with each notebook.
That three month bonus is what makes it worth buying. 32.00 is the most I've spent on notebooks but it's worth it in some cases. Plus Moleskine is actually a really good notebook anyways.
Harv. You can. Just open the One note camera and use that on a regular notebook.

Josephine McIver Thanks Josephine, it is indeed rather curious, I would have thought a simple instruction booklet should be included.
First off - great review. You are very fun and make me not feel like a dope for being as unsure about how to use (or if to even buy) the Evernote Moleskine notebook. Now I get how it works and whether I want it to not.

Hey Steve, thanks for a fabulous presentation. I love your style, fun and easy for the 'normal' folk to relate to!
:-)
Really useful video! Thank you for doing the job of making it understandable for us.
Thanks for the review. I made my wife watch it with me and it helped me explain how they work with Evernote.
Hope you figured it out Amaal Ali
I love Evernote and your videos are ridiculously helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for making sense of this!
Great video, Steve. Just purchased the Moleskine business notebook. Your video is very helpful.

he talks cool and i love evernote. Evernote is life!!!
It seems neither Evernote nor Moleskine listened to your cogent, constructive criticism. Still no sticker instructions upon purchase...
Tried Moleskine with those smart tags, they never worked. I now use Rocketbook, works perfectly.
That is the most ludicrous coalescence of old and new media I've seen in a long time. It contributes greatly to my daily dose of hilarity.
Hey Steve,
Thanks for making this video. I really enjoyed it - got me thinking now about whether I take the plunge and get myself one of the journals.
Jasmin Herro perfect time with the start of a new year!
I have been using the notebook + evernote method for about a year. It is fantastic especially if you have a lot on the go and need to actually use your notes. If you tinker a bit you can get items you write down in your notebook in to trello via evernote, ifttt and trello email to board functionality.

Paul Kirtley Isn't that the strangest thing! How much trouble would it be for +Moleskine to put a simple instruction sheet in with the stickers?
Thanks for explaining this! It seems like the killer product is the stickers, not the notebook.
After seing your video, you conviced me to try this feature of Evernote. I bought one to try.
Let us know how it works for you David DA ROCHA
That's a great video, thanks so much. I prefer the Livescribe pen (and I'm sure others are available) - take notes, sync, highlight the pages on your device and send them straight where they need to be in Evernote (or OneNote and no doubt others). It's expensive at the point of purchase but over time the gains in productivity are huge. I stress that as a journalist and writer I more or less live or die by my notes so it's been worth the investment, I wouldn't advocate the spend unless your notes are *very* important to you.
That said, I forgot to charge it the other day...maybe I should look into the Moleskine and stickers option!
Guy Clapperton Love the Livesribe technology, thanks for sharing it! My only issue is my penchant for loosing pens, gets expenive!
dottotech That's easy, just buy something you can't really afford and just watch how fiercely you guard it...
+Recardo Fonseca here is a link to a webinar I hosted on how I create my videos
www.dottotech.com/screencasting-sectrets-webinar-opt-in-page-2/
Thanks for the kind comments!
Matthew Dobos Thanks Matthew, I love the LiveScribr, I am just BAD with pens! And than can get expensive!
What's this? What's this? a second DottoTech video in the same day?
Oh, boy! Careful! I could get used to this :-)
Awesome review on the Evernote+Moleskin combo.
Thanks Eduardo Carrillo ou are a big help! I do think that they have done a superb technical job on this relationship!
+dottotech Thanks so much Steve for your response, I will do, keep the awesome videos coming, really natural and informative presenting style.
+Geekanoids Evernote only allows you to have a note in a single notebook. They rely more on tags to make it show up in different searches.
EN only allows one notebook per note. To achieve your goal, you could put only one tag and take a photo, then change tags and take the photo again.
It is Moleskine (you forgot the e at the end). It is pronounced skin or skine, I wonder?
Why would you need the special moleskin notebook to use the tag functionality? Couldn’t you just rage any page in any notebook?
All I have to say is thank you! And that I spent around $32 US dollars buying this at Staples.
+MrJohnRicc Good deal!
great, i'm getting a third notebook, your video was great! good info brief enogh thanks a lot!
karazzu Thanks! Sounds like it is working for you!
I think all the following would be far better
- Allow users to write custom tags on the page using the text recognition, or even symbol recognition
- detect different color inks and highlighters
- touch-to-tag on mobile device immediately after snapping a photo
This is just gimmicky.
thanks for the feedback, I can't really argue with you, makes sense to me.
Do the instructions on the last page not tell you how to use the stickers??
Would you recommend this system for law school?
Steve, Great video. I went to my locate Office Supply store and their Moleskine Notebooks had no stickers. Obviously their is an Evernote specific Moleskine Notebook. Also, does this work on regular paper tablets?
Dave Hoadley The automatic tagging does not work without their stickers. , Amazon has the MoleSkine Evernote version, and I found mine at a local reseller...
So...can you buy the stickers separate? You could use them to 'tag' any document/notebook, I would think.
Really ***** ? I am not surprised....I know they have some special printing of the lines on the page...
dottotech That is what I read too, after doing some research.
Great! working with it but how do I get extra moleskine stickers? do not want to buy a new note book whenever I am out of stickers.
+Terry Benzie The app has changed to choosing the type of doc AFTER you take the image.....it is not you, it is a change in Evernote iOS
(heck they could link to my video if they can't make their own!)
As to the "similar color sticker" i somehow doubt it, but i have never tested it, if you find similar stickers and test it let us know the results!
dottotech Excellent video and while we are on the subject other stickers, I also received one additional sticker page that says "Adhesive Tabs" (3 colors: Peach, Green, and Gray with three of each color. I have no clue what that would be used for -- ideas?. There are also two white "Spine Labels" that seem to be the right width to wrap around the notebook spine. Great guess hugh, "spine label" would be used on the *spine*. "Adhesive labels"...... ??
Mike McGowan No Idea! other than the Spine labels!
TIA!!
+Dana Brackett What OS are you using? Check the settings for the camera in Evernote
Soulful Vibration You can customize how you use the feature,
When you talk about digitizing your notes every night - do you save them by date? For example, would I save each date as a separate note in Evernote? How do you organize that?
That would be the most logical way, or by week or month.
+dottotech Are you planning on doing a video on Office Lens at some point?
+TheNugettinage I have not looked at it yet, but I will, thanks for the suggestion.
Can Evernote recognize my own symbols instead of stickers? That would make this great
Thanks for sharing. But does it require special pen? And is it reusable?
mytangolove No special pen required, reusable? not really.
I think a lot of people are with you on that Mike Hardin
Wouldn't it be more cost effective to get the stickers separately and then use a cheaper notebook/moleskin? Seeing inside the notebook might change my opinion but this seems way overpriced for what it is and feels a little like an infomercial.
icarus550 It would be, but the stickers are not sold separately. Infomercial? really??
The history of mull skin is included in every morgan book, it is one of the most historic note taking box in history and has been responsible for the creation of many famous text... As with instructions for this cover there is an abundance of instructions and instructional video on the evernote site
I am sure there must be, but I did not see any on my visits, and I did look for them! I just think they could have included some of those instructions in the Notebook! I suppose I came of a bit snarky, with the comment (more for humour than any other reason) but I do think they could be far more forthcoming with instructions! Thanks +Ada Brown
very interesting... thanks!
etabeta123 You are welcome
Great video Steve,
thanks +jed sai
Nice video Steve.
Thanks Abdelmoumene Elmamoun
No reach at my home I wait for you I am very tired and nervous black and white but why why with me
can we get the stickers without using the moleskin? I am trying a new thing. If you use the Pilot Frixion eraseable ink pen then when your notebook is full you can then capture all the info in evernote and then if you microwave the notebook (include a mug of water during the 'nuke') all the ink in the notebook disappears giving you a fresh new notebook. the pages will still have some indentation but I am willing to give it a try. But don't have stickers to re-use. Any thoughts?
+Darin Brown the stickers are only available when you purchase the notebook. But you sir, are definitely a recycling ninja!
Good morning, what I'd like to tell you is that you're doing all this.
But as I understand it, the camera function you show is only on the iphone app, so they are a waste for android users.
Not so. It he android version has it'll the moleskine features as well
Looks like I'm getting a notebook now.
Johnny Leroy LOL, I hope you like it.
I don't like your videos especially with evernote content your using up all my free time lol. I'm kidding you know eh. I stumbled across one of your videos on 5 favorite evernote features never herd of it was using one-note. Now I'm hooked on your channel and evernote keep them coming you do a great job thanks.
Glad to hear you found u +Robert Reed I also really like OneNote but it is better for people who need that structure!
Robert Reed
I understood the humour Robert! And tht is a great suggestion, i will look into the story!
Robert Reed
I read every comment and reply to as many as I can, at our current size it is manageable, and I get a lot of good feedback!
Here is my fear with the Livescribe, I loose pens, and it is an expensive pen!
Notbooks on the other hand I almost never loose.
I like having the notebook with me, and it is not that expensive when you consider you get 3 months of premium Evernote with the purchase.
But both are great technology options!
does Moleskine sync to other devices?
+nr3rful Not sure what you mean, the moleskine stickers would work on any page.....but it is a system, Evernote and Moleskin.
So are you still using it regularly?
Keith Casper Yep, it goes with me everywhere.
I think the high price is due to the 3 month of premium account that are included.
No question GamblingDementor that is a part of it!
Ps marvelous video though
so its a paper notebook- there is nothing special about the paper- and you can take a pic put into your evernote- (??) just like any kind of notebook... so I don't get it - its just a paper notebook,...
oh , it has stickers... oi
Humm, an expensive notebook that can not take a "flowey" pen, gel or fountain pen because of ghosting or bleed thru....yea ok I'll buy that.....NOT
Have you checked out the other types of notebooks available on their site? There's one that has thicker pages for those types of pens. Tell me what you think.
An attention-grabbing talk is worth comment. I believe that you should write extra on this matter, it might not be a taboo subject however usually people are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
Who is Mr Moleskine?
EHTZ1975 Good Question, and were any Moles hurt in the production of that video!
Cool illusionist magician science concepts:) 🎩🐇🇺🇸😇😎inChrist always chubby billpage illusionist magician in fun
+Bill Page I have no idea what you mean!
I am sorry, but Evernote for iPhone looks surprisingly awful and blend.
I am happy with it
Thank you for your videos by the way, it seems we share the same passions.
Wack a dough!!
:-) TheVegetableAddict
I think I might treat myself to one. It is crazy expensive for a notebook though. It's on amazon for 17-20$
