Belief in God is good but the Bible says even the devil believes and trembles. The devil can't be saved and not everyone who says to Jesus Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. The belief of God is good but what are you doing with it? Jesus died to restore the image of God in you so you can go out into all the world and give Jesus to others. 1 John says, "He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked." God thinks you are so awesome that He bought you back from sin by sacrificing Jesus in your place. The cross is not a constant reminder of your sin paid but a revelation of your value, you are so valuable to God and that's why the cross had to happen. You are destined for greatness bit you will never discover it unless you are willing to die to self. Jesus said, "if anyone wants to be my disciple he must first deny himself." The problem with most Christians is they want to incorporate Jesus into their lives instead of Him becoming their life through death to self. And when a person does that they put on a "Christian" mask while inside they still rage and try to control it because they have to be a "good little Christian." That's not the gospel. The gospel or good news is that we no longer have to live in a constant struggle to please God, that's living under law and self righteous. We totally surrender to Him and die to our will by putting faith in His word and grace transforms us, it has nothing to do with us striving to be good, He does all the work in you by your surrender. God bless you, you are a champion in God's eyes, accept the call and walk in victory.
