@@iamghost34 to be honestly, r1999 is pretty f2p compared to other gacha games, i have a friend that is 100% f2p and he got 3 sothebys on her banner, Tooth Fairy and Jessica
@@iamghost34 it's simple, actually (at least that's what I think because this is what have been happening to me): you get the rate up after every 6 star pull, so that means you get the banner 6 star, next you don't, next you do, and so on
[Edit: mine was the a knight banner and I got him, next was regulus and I didn't get her, then melania I got her too, best boi pickles unfortunately I didn't, and tooth fairy I could've gotten her but I ran out of time and unilogs]

To all those confused, she was never really called "Black Dwarf." That was just a rough translation and a guess of what her name could be in English.
Her name was written in Hindi as "कालाबौना - Kaala Bauna" & the original Chinese characters used as her name "伽菈波那 - Jia La Bo Na".
Just like how Changeling was what they thought Jessica would be called but that was just her Arcane skill's name.
Edit: Eh english is not my primary language so I can't find the right words to get my thoughts across, I'm sorry. I don't mean that it's a mistranslation, I mean like a Spanish man named "Juan" will still be named "Juan" even if he goes to an English speaking country and nobody will translate it to "John." Kaala Bauna will be Kaala Bauna and not Black Dwarf, that's just the basic literal translation/equivalent.
Those who called them changeling & Black Dwarf because they just follow prydwen guide 100%.
Some even said to change changeling name back to jessica when her name always be jessica 😂😂😂

As someone who's indian and play this game, it really makes me happy to see characters like Tenant and these new ones

AHHH FINALLY A INDIAN CHARACTER. I'm actually really surprised bc even the accent isn't the stereotypical one and they are representing the Indian culture amazingly unlike Genshin Impact and also ACTUALLY HAVE AN INDIANISH NAME- Omg and the Hind text and math stuff reminded me of Shakuntala Devi. I SWEAR INDIAN CULTURE HAS NEVER BEEN REPRESENTED IN A VIDEO GAME THIS GRATE-

@@MrWizardjr9if they were gonna represent india then they shouldn't have mixed it up with middle east too. It made the whole thing messy since Hinduism and Islam don't go along very well. I dont even see the point of including a dangerous religion like islam in a video game meant to be enjoyed.

Also not to mention the pronunciation killed me 😭 tho I will say that genshin feels like they did good amount of research with names and other stuff but the thing is that it felt way to western, reverse: 1999 feels more like you are in India but I will say that when the character speak in hindi it kinda sounded like it was copied straight from Google. But in all honesty both of the game's still represented Indian culture well.

I thought Vertin and Sonetto come to India or something but, it turn out to be Matilda as an protagonist in this arc, i love how detail the story, that the world in this game doesnt revolve around MC only 🎉 and the curtural representative is just a chef kiss😭🎉🎉

I have a habit of prioritising leveling characters based on if they have appeared in the story yet so I have Matilda at Insight 2. My only exception is Dikke because I really needed a Beast character leveled up and she was the only 5/6 star Beast character I had.

Why Shamane from Punjab but perhaps he practice Shamanism elsewere (north east?). Meanwhile Kala Bauna is from Mysore. Kanjira have unclear birth but living in Punjab.
Kinda refresing seeing some regional diversity detail.

@@keiclicksThey're pretty generous with amount of summon we get each patch, i got Tooth Fairy and Jessica twice and i still have enough for 3-4 multi. Thank god pity is only 60 here.

Looks great! But I would have loved to see any more non-human characters or more semi-human ones!
For example half human half snake as a nod to the Naga, one of the mythical creatures in Hinduism
The next non human character is in 1.5 her name is Ulu she’s basically a human made of fire
And in 1.6 you'll get Getian who is half harpy
