My husband and I have six kids, so when we moved into a three-bedroom house, my husband built three new bedrooms in the basement (like, complete rooms with carpet, insulated walls, and ventilation). But our previous house was a rental, so my poor oldest child had to sleep in an open basement. But he said he preferred that to sharing with his sibling, lol!

If you ever find yourself in a situation were you feel vulnerable and scared just yell as hard and rasply as possible. Specifically in Russian this is key to scare anyone or anything. Some useful vocab would be VRAK UBIT, IDI NAHUI, CYKA BLYAT, and if anyone of those don't work then always make sure to carry a speaker with the Soviet anthem on blast. Hope this helps.

My house was built in 1804 and the attic door is a small door with three heavy iron locks. That door is in my room, five feet away from my bed. One day I came home from a sleepover and I was the only one in the house. No one else had been in the house for at least three days. The door to the attic was cracked open and the light was off. All three locks were detached and one of them was gone altogether. I don’t know what to think other than that I need a weapon in my nightstand at all times.
I'm poor so no attic here. Just sounds of gunfire every other night or alarms.
