“The black and white thinking we are stuck in and we’re stuck in projection rather than empathy.”
    - I agreee heavily with this. I believe in a mixture of free will and destiny. If you do not question your actions, then you will be at the mercy of your destiny. If you question your actions and actually try to circumvent your path, then you gain free will.
When people espouse to not wanting to change or they will not change who they are, they end up being at their own mercy and falling victim to themselves.
I definitely saw Mohg in a better light after the DLC, he was crazy for sure but why was he insane? Like you stated, trauma and rejection. Mohg said to hell with the golden order and saw his blood and blood itself as something divine.
Given that some of the Shadowlands inhabitants actually do worship the Formless Mother, Mohg was onto something. His cursed blood is only cursed when you look at it through the lens of black and white.
Because the Hornsent see the Erdtree and their gold as unholy. But Queen Marika sees them as unholy due to their actions.
Much of what Elden Ring taught me is what can be seen throughout history. Everyone thinks they’re right, usually.
I prescribe to non-duality and as the player it makes sense to see things this way; everyone is making claims that their version of things is the truth, when in reality it’s probably somewhere in the middle.
