    Chocolate Chip Cookie Krispy Treats
    Ingredients:
    1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
    ½ teaspoon baking soda
    ½ teaspoon salt
    ½ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
    ½ cup granulated sugar
    ¼ cup light brown sugar, packed
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 large egg
    ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
    Instructions for the Chocolate Chip Cookies:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    Mix the dry ingredients:
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
    Combine wet ingredients:
    In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, honey, and vanilla extract until well combined. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
    Combine and add chocolate chips:
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
    Form the cookies:
    Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each for spreading. Flatten the dough slightly with the back of a spoon to ensure they bake thin and crispy.
    Bake:
    Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
    Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheet (they will crisp up as they cool).
    Chocolate Chip Cookie Krispy Treats
    Ingredients:
    4-5 cups of thin & crunchy chocolate chip cookies (about 16-18 cookies, crumbled)
    10 oz marshmallows (mini or regular)
    4 tablespoons unsalted butter
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    Pinch of salt
    Instructions for Chocolate Chip Cookie Krispy Treats:
    Crumble the cookies:
    Once the chocolate chip cookies are fully cooled, crumble them into small pieces. You can do this by hand or place them in a resealable bag and lightly crush them with a rolling pin. You want small chunks but not a fine powder.
    Melt the marshmallows and butter:
    In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they are fully melted and smooth.
    Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
    Combine the cookie crumbles:
    Remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately stir in the crumbled cookies until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
    Press into a pan:
    Lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. Press the cookie-mallow mixture into the pan in an even layer. You can use a piece of parchment paper or buttered hands to press it down gently without sticking.
    Cool and slice:
    Allow the Chocolate Chip Cookie Krispy Treats to cool completely at room temperature. Once set, cut into squares and serve.
