Rach, these were all good! You're right, they're those little things we walk past and don't see. I would add curtains and anything against the walls. You can vacuum the curtains. I make sure mine are washable because I love the way the house smells after you wash them. Lots of dust collects in the material. Fun fact: in a hospital, the most germ filled things can be the curtains. They hold all the air borne germs. Remove wall hangings and dust behind. Pull furniture away from wall (if you can) and dust. Whew. I'm tired just thinking of all of this. Think I'll reward myself with a mocha for making a mental list.😄
Thank you! And I’ve never thought about the curtains like that. Definitely adding this one when I work on my mom’s house later this month (we don’t have curtains here). 😊
A big thing people forget to clean are all the remotes for tv and devices. So many fingers, hands touching them. I use disinfectant wipe at least once a week, usually when wiping door knobs and light switches. The number of germs on these items is unbelievable!
I've been using that Dollar Tree 🌳 Snake since you initially showed it & it's made my "drain life" so much easier. *Thanks for sharing my Epsom Salt tip - you're the best💞
I find that I have forgotten to clean ceiling fans, vent covers and the top of door frames. For ceiling fans, I've started using an old pillow case to simultaneously wipe the top and bottom. Then use an old Tshirt with some fabric softener/ water to get anything that's stuck on. Plus it smells great. Also like once a quarter, I pull out the fridge and stove to clean the floors and sides of them. I only pull out the dishwasher once a year. Cuz it's a PIA. LOL
thank you for posting! Love your videos! Shower liners are also washable. Throw a couple of towels in with it and they scrub the liner when it's in the washer. Saves a lot of money not having to replace them all the time.
That's how I clean my shower liner. I find that the thicker shower liners last longer than the thinner shower liners so it's worth spending the money. So I go ahead and clean mine with either rags that I have or with towels. My shower curtain is also washable.
@hillarywainwright I agree about sending the extra. I normally buy the $1 liner from Walmart. This new one was $4.99 at Ross and it’s so much nicer and I’m excited to try the tip to clean it.
@@RachPlusFive we go through so many liners! I also usually buy the really cheap ones from Walmart. I think this time I’ll go to Ross and buy a better one. They feel more luxurious and a lot of those are mold/mildew resistant too so that’s a plus!
hi I buy my shower liners at the dollar tree, we’ll the dollar and a quarter tree, lol change it once a month, put a new one up! to make it easier i finally purchased the two sides shower rings
Keep your toothbrushes covered. Toilet "vapor" is 6ft and will cover your toothbrushes as well as whatever else is on your counter and that distance. I also take off my blinds and soak them in scrubby bubbles or bleach solution. Then hang them to dry in the tub. Just do it accordingly. Our house gets dusty more often certain times a year.
Great video! I live in Florida as well, the tip about soaking the shower head is a good one, especially in Florida we have the second worst water in the country, yikes
Hi Rach! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos! I love your channel and all the information that you share. I've bought some of the products you recommended, unfortunately, "Folex Stain Remover" didn't work for me. I don't know what I did wrong. I sprayed the stain on my cardigan, scrubbed a little, and washed it. The stain was still there. 😞 If you know of any other stain remover please let me know. Thanks again!
Thank you! That’s so weird, I’ve never had an issue except for some older, set in stains. I’ll have to do some digging and see if cardigans respond better to something else. 😊
I realize your comment is from a long time ago, but thought I'd comment anyway on what works for me if you haven't found something you like yet- Oxi Clean MaxForce in the laundry section of your store.
Hi and thank you for being here. 😊 To mop the walls, I use my O’Cedar mop and in the bucket is 5-6 pumps of Dawn Powerwash, a Tide pod, and hot water. I spot clean my walls with a wet microfiber or use a magic eraser if really needed. I don’t recommend that though if your paint isn’t scrubbable.
I have that cleaner I purchased off of Amazon. I’ll link it in the next comment. They also sell one that has this device and an attachment for your vacuum. 😊
I love these tips and the fact that you stick to the topic and don’t ramble on like others😊
Thank you so much! 😊
Omg..facts!!!
And can't forget her cute puppy helping!!
Your little helper is so cute. I have two ferrets that are soooo helpful when cleaning. Along with pet bowls, I wash their beds and toys.

I’ve read that they are but never tried it. Thank you, I’ll try that with this new liner. 😊

Hi I'm new here and I love your videos! Was wondering what you use to wash your walls with? I need to clean my walls desperately 😩

What do you use to clean out lent trap because my vacuum hose can not fit to such all lent out?
I have that cleaner I purchased off of Amazon. I’ll link it in the next comment. They also sell one that has this device and an attachment for your vacuum. 😊
Holikme 2 Pack Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit Dryer Lint Brush Vent Trap Cleaner Long Flexible Refrigerator Coil Brush www.amazon.com/dp/B07F268WY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4D94N9CST9KP7JSKEB3B
You can also use a paper towel roll. Put it on your vacuum like an attachment and slightly bend it to fit into the slot
That's what I do with the paper roll it really works.
