My Sist, where someone would go n be Hapi has natin to do with music over there .. also no careful business man wld want to do business at plc wher there’s No security n it explains why Nigerians love to do business in Ghana, even tho Nigeria has viable environment for business than Ghana due to the numbers…
Madam Ekanem, I like your attempt in promoting both Ghana and Nigeria. I believe both countries appreciate that. As I watched your video carefully, I noted the following as you listed and explained them. - Security -Goes to Ghana - Economic Purpose -Goes to Nigeria Reasons because 1. Nigeria has larger population than Ghana 2. Buying power or purchasing power 3. Because Nigeria is a striving environment as such business strive there - Easy To Setup Business -Goes to Nigeria - Super Friendly -Goes to both Ghana and Nigeria - Delicious Delicacies -Goes to both Ghana and Nigeria - Beautiful Cultures -Goes to both Ghana and Nigeria - Entertainment -Goes to Nigeria In all these, I have thing to correct and bring to your notice and if you are a very good analyst and researcher, you will understand me. When you talk about differences between Ghana and Nigeria in terms of economics purpose, as you put it, you have to do so with fact and figures. It is not that simple at all. Economics is very broad but your focus was on the business side. And I will take it from that point. For you to say: - Nigeria is good for Economics Purpose than Ghana… Let’s take water as the cheapest product and let’s compare prices in both countries. Let’s see how affordable water is in both countries. Ghana Cedi = GHS Ghana Pesewas = gp Nigeria Naira = ₦ Nigeria Kobo = nk 1 Single Sachet Water = ₦ 50.00 1 Bag of Sachet Water =. ₦ 400.00 1 Single Sachet Water = 0.50gp 1 Bag of Sachet Water = GHS12.00 Thus, buying one single sachet of water is 0.50 pesewa in Ghana while in Nigeria a single sachet of water is 50 Naira. That means that water is cheaper in Ghana than in Nigeria. It also exposes the fact that cost of living in Nigeria is expensive. This means that doing business in Nigeria is not profitable. Let’s assume that water prices are the same in Ghana and Nigeria 1 Single Sachet of Water = GHS 1 1 Single Sachet of Water = NGN 1 Population: Ghana = 33,000,000 Nigeria = 229,000,000 In Ghana Market 33,000,000 x 1 = *33,000,000* In Nigeria Market 229,000,000 x 1 = *229,000,000* Converting The Naira Sales To Cedis NGN229,000,000 = GHS 2,209,426 Converting The Cedi Sales To Naira GHS 33,000,000 = NGN 3,420,345,460 Now looking into this analysis, as a business minded person it is clear that doing business in Ghana is profitable than doing business in Nigeria because Ghana currency is stronger than Nigeria’s. As a business minded Ghanaian, I will not do business in Nigeria but I will make properties in Nigeria and have some holidays there and work in Ghana than working in Nigeria. With the rest of the points you made especially Entertainment, I will give it to Nigerians and every point you to Nigeria, no problem except when it comes to the economy in terms of business.
Sis please I'm still waiting for my video, about a safe city and cheaper rent 1 bedroom apartments as a family of 2 planning to live in Ghana for the first time and I'm from Nigeria
The business aspect is wrong ,Nigeria is not safe for business because any shaking country and unsafe environment will Never allow your business to grow u can’t grow in a country where there is political and civil tension
So if Nigerians have the bying power over Ghana, why are Nigerian traders moving to Ghana to do business enmass leaving that potential customer advantage they have in their country behind to a "lesser purchasing environment" like Ghana? And why Ghanaians traders not moving to Nigeria in reverse to take advantage of what Nigerians have over their country?
When it comes to business sustainability, it's more than just having people purchasing your goods, when your business isn't secured of course it can't succeed. Thank you for your contribution.
Why are we seeing americans coming down to our country or ur country or other African countries? why are ur people traveling to different countries every now and then? do u want to tell me u dont really understand why the movement of people from one place to another cant be stopped? how many are u in ur country to talk about buying power in nigeria? ordinary lagos and ghana will contest on population and if u do ur research is lagos might be more than ghana in population or same. so how can u stand the buying power of naija?
