7 am update. Milton is now a 120 mph Major category 3 storm. Unfortunately when these storms are rapidly intensifying like this, info changes very fast. As soon as I pushed publish on this video, the NHC upgraded the Hurricane. (Hate when that happens).
Yeah when this video posted I looked at hurricane hunter recon data and seen they had found 955 mb 30 min earlier but didn’t update the information on the hurricane page. Probably found that while you were making this video .

The other channels are kind of loud or animated which stresses me out. I really like the way you deliver information especially "geeking out"

Jacksonville Beach here.... We live on the beach and low in the Marsh on the interracial waterways. We lost water last week for two days due to flooding from Helene. I believe we will need our kayaks after Milton. Stay safe WEST COAST and ALL Floridians. 40+ years of hurricanes and it's never ever anything we take lightly. But we do know how to get through it🇺🇲🙏🌀
Great presentation: we can also mention the IMPORTANCE of Milton makn a POSSIBLE interaction with the Yucatan. If it makes contact with the Yucatan it can weaken the storm causing it to move more east and change the WHOLE projectory. Once Milton passes or makes contact with the Yucatan we would have a better idea what happens with the storm. The Low thats spinning to the west of Florida is impacting Milton and causing it to move south. Once that Low crosses FLA, Milton will be less impacted and work its way on.
It seems that short attention span theater is all the rage these days... You enjoy creating long form weather updates because you know your shit and I respect that. I did find how these back to back storms were able to form in the Gulf so quickly quite unusual and I really appreciate you explaining the science behind that. Thank you, you got my sub!

Seen this more times than ever! So many predictions of a hurricane becoming a max of a category 3 or 4 and it becomes a 5. If the weather man says 3 expect a 4 if they say 4 expect a 5 just saying there never right! Always prepare for the worse when listening to any weather forecast

Space coast here. It has not stopped raining since Sunday early morning, over 24 hours.. Just like the storms hitting that area of NC soaking the ground so that water has no where to go, also heard it makes it easier to uproot trees. Bad mix here.
