Best advice as a former resident 18-year living in FL, evacuate the whole state permanently, hurricanes keep coming every season, not worth it, unless u r rich and have no problems dealing with high costs of living and insurances.
I wonder if all these people that moved to FL are regretting it now. And will it be a deterrent to those thinking about moving to FL?

Milton is 800 miles from Florida and is moving at about 7 mph. Sounds like it will take five days to reach Florida unless it picks up a lot of speed. To get to Florida on Wednesday it would immediately need to speed up to 16 mph. That is certainly possible but why do they expect that to happen?
