  • Featuring:-
    * Melbourne Tram 975 departing the Bendigo Tramways Gasworks Depot on
22nd January 2015. (I think it had been sold to a private buyer and I have
since read that 975 now resides somewhere in Tasmania - comments
    welcome.)
    * Trams 17, 21 & 880 in service on 30th January.
    * Arrival of Sydney Tram R1 1995 at the Gasworks Depot on 30th January.
This historic tram was in a deplorable condition.
    * Newly restored Tram Y1 611 being taken from the Main Depot to the
Gasworks Depot where it was loaded onto the Low Loader which had
delivered R1 1995 earlier in the day for forwarding to the Sydney Tramway
    Museum. 30th January 2015.
    * A very big tram shunt at the Main Depot on 5th February which resulted
in three trams being placed in McCrae St for a couple of hours. This was
to make room for W7 1010 and Bendigo 18 which were transferred from the
Gasworks Depot to the Main Depot.
    * Former Melbourne Restaurant Tram W2 442 and former City Circle Tram
SW5 728 in storage at the Gasworks Depot on 4th March.
    * Bendigo Y1 610 on a "Blues Tram" charter service on 6th March.
    * On 15th March an AFL "NAB Challenge" pre-season game between
Collingwood and Carlton was played in Bendigo. Service trams 21 & 302
ran adorned with balloons in the teams colours attached.
