57:10 Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there
Every time that Lucius puts his hands behind his back and stares out of the window I think he gets more and more baddass... the only downside is that I have not seen any fanart of him doing that yet. I will say at first I thought Lucius was just Trott wanting to have a bit of fun, but now by the end I really feel and hope that his character arc is going to be my favorate, becoming a charasmatic commander and defender of Aerois. (Wild hope but I'm holding out for Admiral Elenasto by the end of the campaign)
There was one fan art quite a while ago on one of these episodes where there was crew looking at Lucius while he was looking out on the ship and they were all just like "oh look at our captain so strong" but Lucius was actually crying lol
I got to watch this episode live which was my first time ever watching live and I absolutely loved it. I am not watching it fully again here but I wanted to reiterate how great this episode was
I had a dream last night the high rollers were playing dnd in my room and i was playing as a magical cat girl who was always asleep, so to stay in character i was half asleep in my bed listening to what everyone was doing and only answered questions out of character with thumbs up and tbumbs down. Mark hated it and kept telling me to sit up and play properly. I had a feature called "dramatic entrance" that gave me a bunch of bonuses only if i stayed asleep until clutch moments so i had to stay asleep. I feel like i owe mark an apology even though it was a dream... sorry mark i love you!
FINALLY BACK TO AEROIS 😂😭 lmao it’s so funny how Marc never planned this but it happened and the world building is my favorite! The universe is just so immaculate!
YAS!!!!! This is exactly what I need after my online class. Thank you high rollers. Thank you for blessing me with your content and making my life so much better.
Quill: "We need to use less magic power for the cloak, last time we had too much." Also Quill, three seconds later: "I put in a 5th and a 6th-level spell slot."
This is and always has been such an insanely high quality show, you can really see the brilliance of HR’s support people and the community. Even campaign 1 had beautiful art and a good scheme since the very beginning.
@@constenanto4590 Except for the fact that he knows the others are not races native to Aerois. The ironic thing is that most of the PCs have an origin outside of Aerois one or another.
This campaign is so big. Mark wanted Star Wars he’ll get it. Planetary or galaxy scale war against an empire and death god. Hopefully we’ll see the resistance again. Perhaps they’ll have a war on two fronts. The armies of Aerois against the fleet and perhaps Sentry can liberate her planet Mechanicus. Nova frees Ghenas. Alia frees the elves from the prison planet. We got three planets full of potential allies and Angels plus a few rebel cells. This is a lot. I’m loving it. Hope it doesn’t end prematurely with a TPK
I know this is a bit late but me too, It feels like lucius is left out like he doesnt have an important role i mean quil is a titans chosen, aila has the storm king with her, sentry carries the prime matrix, and nova has a talking sword that is very important also
Omg, perfection. Ugh, loved so much of this! I nearly died from the descriptions of the star serpent. And Palador! Wonder if anyone remembers that the entire episode half of Lucius skin is burnt away from the ray and he's on like, what, 11 HP after Aid faded? lol
Galrung PaNaia IMO they should, a lot of Aerois is centred around what mark refers to as “magitech”. Even on the planet itself, even if rare and more primitive and more clock-punk esque, it’s there. There have been numerous characters who’d probably fut into the archetype of an artificier. If they aren’t a thing then to me a great chunk of the potential created by having magitech, is lost
Lucius's sister is confirmed an artificer at one point (Whether in name or in class), however I think that magitech is possible without being an artificer if need be.
Such a cool episode! spoilers for end of episode I wonder how the dragons and other people are going to react to a star ship getting through the cradle since the war. As always really looking forward to the next one!
Marks lookin great recently. Like hes always been a charismatic and good looking dude. But like.... hes just lookin good? Kinda coming more into his own vibes. For lack of better wording.
Yes. It's rather unfortunate that the language information for certain races and creatures don't enlighten players to that context. You have to read the language section in the PHB to get that information about Primordial and the four elemental based dialects.
Oh wait! They could've asked how to remove Thalia's curse! Huh; can't fault 'em for it, I got so caught up with the Palador meeting myself that I didn't realize till after.
Might not have the power to do so after the transformation from Titan to an aspect of the Sunship. Frankly with everything changing with Aerois' divine power structure the Titans may not be able to do it either.
I haven't seen it be mentioned before, although it may have been, but something I've been considering for awhile is that Aila perhaps got shunted into the future. Her memories of being aboard a Starbane ship could be from around the time of Alfheim's collapse, and when whatever went wrong happened she was sent forward in time to a safe place to be protected. Renthra mentioned it'd been many centuries since someone had lightning powers.
They have mentioned cloning and it's kind of like reincarnation. And the only thing that has had any relation to temporal magic has been Hadar thus far. There is still a lot of blanks to fill in but I'm not feeling like this is the answer. How would Aila find that out to complete her arc? Still I'm only here at the halfway point. Anything is possible.

Pallador seems like an absolute chad. Love that guy. Great session, finally made it home.
Is no one pointing out this part of dialogue:
Nova: "Lucius always had an existential crisis."
Tiangong: "Affirmative."
They all did, called it the best one word burn.
@@Saintvallen They said that in response to Tiangong's reply of "Patronizing".
Yeah
I'm a 26 year old grizzled tradesman and I genuinely teared up a bit during that palador encounter. Anyone eles
I was surprised to hear that but then I heard him speak to lucius and for some reason it almost got me
Quill: "Good news, he’s very close. Bad news, he's right there".
Tom has some really funny moments
I love how much personality TianGong has even though they only speak one word at a time - and humour!

I love Admiral Elenasto

This was probably the most epic episode of High Rollers so far. I have nothing but respect for Mark and the whole crew.
I live for the interactions Tiangong has with the party, and nothing else
I got to watch this episode live which was my first time ever watching live and I absolutely loved it. I am not watching it fully again here but I wanted to reiterate how great this episode was
I’m sorry, I love mark, he will forever be in my podium of storytellers ever. EVER
I am just going to say Chris and Tom RPing is absolutely brilliant. That "forms" scene got me good.
I think that was the point. Though I do believe Trott was trying to fool his fellow players with that.
57:11
This is why Trott is my favourite. He doesn't meta play at all. He knows that his character would react like this and so he reacts like that
Wish Bim was round to see this

20 minutes in, still waiting for Sentry to introduce quill to the space guardian, since his race was literally created by a shard of Siaska
Yeah, I was thinking that the whole time. Unfortunately she's not very good at remembering stuff.
@@corpralcobra420 She's role-playing low INT.

Still watching in parts . " wife " sending this message. He is glad to have this story. Thank you for making him happy.
My husband is very sick. But watching and listening to this has helped him breath.

I am SO hyped to see all the Palador fanart.
I'm kinda disappointed that not a single one of them considered giving the energy crossbow to Arvil when they got back to Aerois.
