    Is it possible to have detail lines drawn in plan and import them into sheet views ?

      I believe not, you can copy detail lines between views but copying them onto a sheet might not be possible because it is not considered a view. That said I could be wrong because details lines are just 2D elements and you can draw 2D elements on sheets. Try it out and let me know!

    Is there a way to make detail lines appear in a shared file when another file that was linked into it (shared) has them?

      Only model elements would, so you could use model lines instead.

      @@ArchitectureVanguard Yes, I also figured it out on the latter part. Thank you!

    Can I draw arc by default, or do I always have to select the arc button after issuing the DL command?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard

      As far as I know, when using the line commands, the default option is going to be the basic line segment. I am sure there is a way deep in the API where that could be changed as it is coded into the program. Unfortunately, that is very far outside of my expertise haha. So I think we are stuck with selecting the arc after hitting DL but let me know if you find of another way.

      @@ArchitectureVanguard I'm creating a lighting plan, so the Arc Wire (EW) command is okay. I prefer the "Start-End-Radius" way of drawing arcs but I've found this somewhat useful. Thanks for the reply.

    BUT HOW DO YOU JOIN THEM TOGETHER TO MAKE A PROFILE!!!!!

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  8 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately you cannot join detail lines together into a single line like you can in rhino. The closest you can get to that is selecting all lines at once by pressing tab over one line.

    Is it possible to create a circle with smooth edges

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 года назад

      Yes, there is a circle option in the types of lines you can draw.

    I don't have the circle or arc option in my revit only lines and polygons. Can anyone help?

      That is interesting, I have not seen that before. You might start by restarting Revit.

    How to measure a inclined detail line?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 года назад

      You can always use the measure tool if you are in a 2D view. Details will not appear in 3D, so you should always be able to measure them.
