I honestly don't think that's what they're trying to do.Perhaps both Aamir and the interviewer have been educated in english medium schools or have had such massive exposure to the western world,so much so that they think in English or a mix of English and Hindi,that's why they speak as such. Highly doubt it's a concious desicion to be "cool" though.
