Their goal was achieve 500 hp. So much envy in here. Probably they know it is not safe to drive. The interesting part is how much power you can make from a small engine and they did it. If the problem is understeer they can mount wider tires or lower the horsepowers. Respect to them. Great job!
What pistons rods and crank shaft does that thing have?

My vios only 350hp.. But smoked alot of cars at high speed.. Stock fairlady z also cant stay close to me.. This 500hp need good setup else the grip.....

It's kgm. Multiply it by 9.81 and you get about 500Nm which is like 360lb ft

Which engine? Its definitely going to cost you. I don't think any of the stock motors are good past like 150 hp, plus on top of that, the biggest provider is gone in terms of power mods. You can however buy a blitz supercharger and do some intake header exhaust modifications and be looking at around the 150 mark which on such a light car isn't so bad. No street bruiser but it'll get you onto the freeway easier.
It might be better to invest in an engine swap rather than taking the risk of modifying your stock engine. With the amount of time and money you're gonna invest, it's cheaper to just buy a better engine.
A stock 1nz fe can be built with forged rods and pistons for under $1500 US. Now aside from that there’s custom turbo kit, fuel system, etc. Always weigh your options but swapping a 2zz celica motor leaves little to no room for a turbo/supercharger and in the end will cost roughly 5-6g to do properly which is why I chose the turbocharging of a built 1nz.

Is it still 1500cc or has it been bored and stroked to a higher displacement because 500whp is unreal and own a car with a 1nzfe and I wasn't sure it had this much potential. Anyways I love the car though :)

I do not wish to say more, but I do believe u misunderstood me. Push it to the max or not, this lab rat will not be pleasant to drive in normal speed, neither safe to drive at higher speed other than on dyno machine. Just saying it's a waste of time on this platform no matter the effort they put into chassis strengthening and gear ratio tuning + LSD. It won't be an enjoyable/reliable to drive, be it slow or maniac speed unless more money is wasted unless detuned

Until they have another videos on how it perform on normal road and track, I would say this chassis and gearbox will not do well. Especially torque steer. This is just a dyno monster, not a true monster. All that power for a FWD? No thanks, save your money for better car other than this POS

Lol, BMW made a 1.5 litre F1 engine with 1500bhp, so what's makes you think a completely rebuilt Toyota 1.5 litre 1NZFE can't make 500hp?
