    TJP's release is a bit weird for me. Most former WWE superstars would shoot on Vince the moment they're out.
    This gives me a new perspective on Vinnie Mac.

    TJP was severely underused in WWE
    The second he turned heel, he could have been great in a team with Neville but they rushed that angle and ruined it
    When he feuded with Rich Swann, it could have been even better but it was ruined due to TJP getting injured
    Finally, he returns as a heel and teams up with Mike Kaniells which was also ruined before it even had time to go
    I hope TJP is doing better in the indies and now, and thanks for another great Interview as always Chris

      Totally agree. He was so good at heel mannerisms during matches and his promos were getting really good. Hope he's still heel on indies.

    TJP is great for the Filipino community. I'm happy he got to work with Manny Pacquiao. Hope we get more Filipino wrestlers around like TJP. Rooting for him. This is one of my favourite Chris. Thank you for interviewing him. #CVVwithTJP

    This has been the interview l have been looking forward to you one day doing & when you finally did it & announced it I couldn't wait for it to drop & it did not disappoint. TJP is so smart, well-spoken, respectful & still humble despite his tenure in the wrestling business. He's also one handsome son of a gun. He'd fit perfectly in AEW so I hope he finds his way there sooner than later. Great stuff Chris!

    Very cool interview with TJP! I don't blame him for being unhappy with the micromanagement at WWE. I enjoyed watching him on WWE and 205 Live but I can understand why he wanted to get out. I always enjoy your interviews. I started my day kinda meh but after watching your interview I'm like all happy now so thanks for that. You have such a bright smile and just a very positive person.     Chris, you are the man. The best part is that you're a wrestling fan out there doing it. You're "one of us" with the drive and connections to get to the people we want to know more about.     Great interview! Seriously, TJP was under utilized. He has a way to make what would normally be something unintelligible to the casual wrestling fan (serious technical wrestling) look like pure magic in the ring. Glad he's doing great.

    even if he wanted to leave , i never understood how wwe could release such an awesome wrestler.

    It's a small thing but i remember when he debuted his WWE gaming (Megaman) inspired theme was big for me. Felt like representation in a weird way for gamers. He was a good first cruiserweight champ for sure.

    Zack sabre wasn't in the final cuz he wouldn't sign with WWE. that's why they went with Mascara Dorada/Metalik.

      Exactly why I doubt it when he says he wasnt signed when he won the Title. Theres no F’N chance in hell they would have put the title on him if he wasnt signed already

      Didn't they want Kota Ibushi (sorry terrible with names) but he refused a contract last minute so thats why Mascara was in finals?? They'd have zero idea what to do with Zack's British/Technical style.....just look at poor Gentleman Jack Gallagher

      @@jeffreymichael540 thanks for the reminder Jeff ☺ I remember him not signing for anyone at the time because it was a big thing. Loads of companies wanted him but cant remember where I heard it (1st Cruiser Weight Classic was yrs ago now) but WWE definitely thought they were gonna convince him to sign and he was lined up to win the tournament but he couldn't be swayed so they had to change the last few matches the day of the finals being filmed.
      Wasn't it 2018 or when he signed for NJPW cos sure he's been in 2 Wrestle Kindom matches....first was agains Cody (Crossroads off the ringg apron was fooking frightening!!!) and then against Omega in that hr long classic.....could be wrong, watch NJPW but my memory for dates is terrible haha could have signed back end of 2017 for all I know but defo been in longer than just this yr

    I was a fan of TJP on 205 when I used to watch it every week, always could cut a confident promo while walking down to the ring, I thought WWE should have tried harder to keep him.

    I'll say this now. He's riding the hype of him being a free agent. Jericho and Callihan have stated that this hype does burn out. Hope he finds something consistent.
