Yeah it's improvised but this is not a pop song. It's a rock song due to the instruments used and the rough sound of Bruno's voice that he uses to imitate The Police.
I have so many sad memories when this song came out, my grandfather just died, i was in middle school and didnt have confidence and our family was going threw rough times, goid song tho, but i wish i could go back in time and change my whole past

@@swolescott7845 they're called octave chords, like power chords but mute the middle string. In this song I think they're at 10-8 9-7 2-0 and the one on 5-3 is played on the a and d strings
