Hello, I received the first the Pfizer vaccine on september the 30th, I felt really well with little pain. Nevertheless, the third day at night I started to feel a tingle in feet, legs and arms and felt like i had no force, I started to worry and couldn't sleep well, the next day I had heartache and tachychardia but I believe these further symptons were because of stress. That same day I went for blood tests and the doctor said the signs were all ok, and told me it was probably an neurologic allergic reaction, I took some meds and vitamins and the symptoms started to went off the next days. I told another doctor recently since i got covid recently and told me it was a weird reaction (the tingles), and to wait a little in taking another shot . Would you think is safe another mrna shot? I'am hesitant and probably considering taking Novavax shot in a few months if authorized. Thanks in advance!
Immunological reaction to vaccination typically takes 24-72 hrs to fully develop. Once your immune system has started to generate IgG specific antibodies in response to the presence of an antigen it can take up to 1-2 weeks for enough to be present in your bloodstream to make you immune. As to side effects. Many viral infections can trigger cardiac symptoms - aka "myocarditis". Myocarditis simply means that your cardiac tissue has incurred some inflammation for some reason. So in the case of infectious diseases this means the virus in question is able to infect the cells of the heart - just as say the Influenza virus can readily infect the cells of your respiratory tract. Since the Covid virus attaches to "ACE receptors" in the body which your cardiac tissue is full of = it can infect the cells of the heart. So a likely reason why younger people are experiencing myocarditis following mRNA vaccination is owing to their age and hence = activity levels. An older more sedentary person does not typically "stress" their heart as a younger, more active person does. So just as say a smoker becomes short of breath with exertion - so more active people seeing their hearts work more might incur more noticeable symptoms as a result of the presence of myocarditis compared to older people. What matters is that it is typically mild and transitory requiring no intervention. They might feel it for a day or two but for most it usually resolves quickly. Unless it results in significant chest pain and/or difficulty breathing then it only bears monitoring and taking it easy for a time.

Meh! Your bloodstream already contains loads of various proteins. The "protein spikes" created by the introduction of the vaccine mRNA into the cell are not capable of replicating themselves. Thus any which might evade neutralization by the subsequent antibodies generated in response to inoculation during the inflammatory phase following injection would simply break down on their own after a time as all protein structures do. Proteins like everything else = have a "shelf life". p.s. - the actual mRNA segments which lead to spike protein creation are fragile as all mRNA is. So those segments will degrade after a few days while as alluded to above any protein spikes created will also break down in time.

I would have loved to get Novavax but unfortunetely our country enforced the vaccine man dates so I only had the one option, they did not even let us choose. I had to take the pfizer vaccine or I would loose my job. We can only buy food and visit a pharmacy. Bit no other stores or venues. I had my first dose on sunday. Arm got sore after a view hours but the next morning my head felt strange. It feels like a tightening grip or pressing down on my brain. I struggled through work. It felt like I was going to faint all the time. At one point I laid down so I dont faint. I keep on feeling as if I am going to fall down. Especially when I do some work or walk or act fast. Tuesday it did not go away and went to see a dr. My blood pressure was 154/80 its usually 115/70. Dr told me the symptoms will pass within 3 days. I had no fever but some headache that comes and go.I still experience the same side effect today Friday. Five days later. I went to see another dr. Did not tell I had the jab but I was asked about my vaccine status before dr will let me in because they only talk to you on the phone before they let you in. This is now fully vaccinated drs who wears full ppe and dont want to see you unless you are vaccinated. When she heard I had one jab she let me in and took my blood pressure and checked my heart. Blood pressure was 118/80. I was just told to wait it out. It could take 2 weeks. Previous dr said 3 days. Did not prescribe me anything for my symptoms. In your opinion should I worry? Our country also tells us it is safe to get the second dose in 3 weeks it was usually 6 weeks. If the second dose is worse than the first what will happen then? I dont veel normal. It sounds like you have a lot going on, and I can tell you are concerned. I'm a PhD not a medical doctor, so you should try and find a doctor you trust and go with their opinion. It sound like your blood pressure was high for 3 days and then went back down to normal by day 5. I know it might be tough to get days off of work, but I would recommend not working for 1-2 days after your second shot. You could try and get it on a Friday and rest for the weekend. We also get the second dose 3-4 weeks afterwards. It sounds like your major side effects were headache and high blood pressure. The second shot will likely give you a fever and muscle aches. My husband felt sick for 6 hours, I felt sick for 24 hours, and my mom felt sick for 72 hours. Everyone is different. I know some people that had zero side effects. Try and take it easy and drink lots of water. If you feel faint you should contact your doctor again. You could also journal how you are feeling.

Great information, I have a question what about people with allergies, Is it too much for the body or immune system to handle allergies and COVID shot since our immune system is always on gun. Great question! I have awful allergies and I got the Pfizer vaccine. I did not set off my allergies. If you have allergies to Polyethylene glycol you should not get the mRNA vaccine. That seems to be the main allergy issue. You should always consult with your primary doctor though! The COVID vaccine will not improve or worsen your allergies.
You would need to time your vaccine to not be close to your prednisone shots. Some people have said their doctors have recommended Novavax. A few things to talk with your doctor about!
Thanks for the video. However... My friend's mother bled on feet after vaccination. AZ My brother in law had breathing issue for a week after Moderna jab. My colleague's son had serious pain after vaccination. I don't remember what vaccine it was. All of them were not counted. To me the side effect probability could be 1 out of 200. Side effect Stastics data were already distorted by the system.

Thus as noted by others the LNPs being little more than emulsified cholesterol are similar to your cell membranes made from lipids. That similarity allows for the permeability required to allow the LNPs to enter the cell to release the mRNA triggering spike protein generation. Ergo people infected with actual Covid also incur symptoms like myocarditis - save for it is seen more often with natural infections than following vaccination while the naturally infected typically incur a more severe subsequent outcome. The Novavax vaccine doesn’t have any blot clots reported yet. The Moderna vaccine has had 8 cases out of 300 million doses given, and Pfizer has 3 cases reported. This is according to the CDC in the US.

But that data is hard to interpret because people going about their daily lives have blood clots too. The vaccine percentages are often not higher than the average expected in the population. Having said that, there are two possible causes. One I have a video on Thrombocytopenia, people who have underlying immune issues against platelets are at risk for bleeding and blood clots. Because the vaccines cause powerful immune responses they can reactive older immune cells and exacerbate auto-immune conditions. I should mention this is rare like 1:5 million people. There is another hypothesis, but it's not proven. Its possible that the viral vector takes the COVID message into the nucleus where is it processed differently than the mRNA vaccines, and through the processing the antibodies are made to a slightly different spike protein that happens to look a bit like blood cells. Then the antibodies stick to blood cells and blood clots happen. It's possible but all of these are rare circumstances.

The goal of this video was to explain the most common side effects (fever, muscle aches, and chills), and explain how that is the feeling of your immune cells becoming activated. Yes there are rare and serious side effects in 0.01% of people who are vaccinated. Blood clots are a concern in viral vector vaccines, but not the other types. Cancer has not been reported due to vaccination. It takes years to develop cancer. I have videos talking about thrombocyotopenia and cancer if you are interested.
Hi Elena, yes it is normal. I think you are concerned because other traditional vaccines do not usually cause side effects. So I would like to give you an example. ChiIdren in the US get the MMR vaccine. This is a traditional vaccine because it is viral, but this vaccine is a live virus which is uncommon. Children often get all of the side effects I listed here (fever, muscle aches, chills) because the MMR vaccine is a live virus which is stronger than other vaccines. The only reason this side effects are happening is NOT due to the mRNA, it is due to the fact that it is strong vaccine. The worry from the vaccine creators was that a weaker vaccine might not cause your immune system to make enough antibodies to prevent severe COVID symptoms. One more point, these side effects are also happening because the shots are spaced so close together. The goal of this video was to explain the most common side effects (fever, muscle aches, and chills), and explain how that is the feeling of your immune cells becoming activated. Yes there are rare and serious side effects in 0.01% of people who are vaccinated. Blood clots are a concern in viral vector vaccines, but not the other types. Cancer has not been reported due to vaccination. It takes years to develop cancer. I have videos talking about thrombocyotopenia and cancer if you are interested.

Hi Elena, yes it is normal. I think you are concerned because other traditional vaccines do not usually cause side effects. So I would like to give you an example. ChiIdren in the US get the MMR vaccine. This is a traditional vaccine because it is viral, but this vaccine is a live virus which is uncommon. Children often get all of the side effects I listed here (fever, muscle aches, chills) because the MMR vaccine is a live virus which is stronger than other vaccines. The only reason this side effects are happening is NOT due to the mRNA, it is due to the fact that it is strong vaccine. The worry from the vaccine creators was that a weaker vaccine might not cause your immune system to make enough antibodies to prevent severe COVID symptoms.
One more point, these side effects are also happening because the shots are spaced so close together. Usually the world isn't in a pandemic and we can wait several months before the second shot.

@@edgarbleikur1929 please don't be mean. The doctor has donated her time explaining to us how vaccine work in theory. In theory, the variables are constant. In real world, the variables change and vaccines which are safe in theory cause a lot injury such as myocarditis if you use Pfizer and blood clotting Astrazeneca.
