They are what we call world wide professional dancers. Everyone in the dance community knows about kaycee and Bailey. Chaeryeong is a professional idol. Kaycee and Bailey are professional dancers. There's a huge difference. Also it's quite insulting to say Chaeryeong and yeji are better than dancers who dance as a living and as their sole life purpose...
purely objectively speaking, i feel like kaycee and bailey did better in these particular clips. while chaeryeong and yeji are incredible dancers as well, the others danced more powerful and controlled and also really went full out, which just makes is more impactful. also some little details and the timing were a bit better aswell, which makes sense because i assume the members learned the dance purely by watching this video, rather than being in the actual dance class. but then again, we also have to keep in mind that chaeryeong and yeji were just having fun doing a bunch of dances so when they would actually PERFORM this, they would probably do a lot better than in this particular video. so even though i do feel like kaycee and bailey did better here, it honestly doesn’t really matter and instead tearing anyone down, we should just celebrate these five incredible dancers!
i am not mad at people saying which style they prefer. what really gets me going is people shading professional dancers because "they overdance". you do know that those are the people who choreograph your faves' dances most of the time, right? on the other side it isn't an idol's duty to perform as good as a literal professional. they're trained to perform overall with vocals. so a little bit more respect for both sides.
also forgot to mention that i have mad respect for chae and yeji for learning that type of choreo. it's important to expand your knowledge and learn different styles of dance. i'm sure that nika (the choreographer) would be really happy to see that their dance reached far enough for kpop idols to study and learn.
I would also like to add that pro-dancers speak through dancing. Their body language can be exaggerated and abstracted in dance to project an infinite number of feelings, subtle moods, and emotions. That's how they communicate with the audience. Idols might not have much energy or dance more subtlety, since they can project emotions through their singing.
@@fluffyclouds4944 great addition! nobody hypes dancers up more than other dancers because we communicate just differently. i remember finding some moves weird before i got into dancing myself. and although i am no pro by any means, it helped me to understand professional dancing better. a lot of kpop stans are used to only seeing idols dance, so it might be overwhelming to watch pro-dancers.

@@tomorichan45 this. Literally no one is hating on them. Like you just said, they're pointing out how biased their fans are. And talking about the difference btw Pro dancers and Idol dancers...
From a guy who works with videos, I'd say the frames per second has an impact on the people watching, the left video has less frames, making movements more dynamic, on the other hand the right one has more frames, meaning a smoother video, you can see movement flaws clearly (if there are any) movements do not look as snappy as the left one. Hmm I don't really get the argument "professional dancers and idol dancers", are they not both professional? Idols who do less singing and more on dancing have really REALLY good movements. Aight, now I'm lost I'll end my stupid sht.
A professional taking the video with a high quality camera on the left one and a table or something holding the PHONE in the right one, is rather what people should consider
It also looks like they were just havin fun, they were on break or something, took 5 to 10 times to practice the steps and pressed record, ofcourse it won't be as snappy as the girls on the left video which clearly is their routine and practiced it a bunch of times.
Higher frame dance videos look better than lower framed dance videos. Their movement flaws are cause they're not great dancers compared to the left. Left are professional dancers, right are professional kpop idols. There's a difference.
idk why ppl lie and pretend the idols are matching up to a real dancer... idols aim to be a good in each category they need but they arnt aiming to base their personality on dancing.. we have to be honest clearly the actual dancer is 2000 x better from details to musicality etc but that doesnt mean idols are bad they just arnt as experienced in one feild but the idols will out preform a dancer in a mixture of things stage presence/singing while dancing plus more etc
true. dancing is the only thing that professional dancers have to master. while idols have to master dancing, rapping, singing, facial expression, stability and still have to remain pretty. no idols can give it all to a dance so even if kpop industry have someone who is able to do this, they would have this idol pressure and unable to do this style of dancing

Bailey and Kaycee slayed as well as Yeji and Chaer 💕
tbh i like yeji and chaeryoung's version because i don't really the overhyped dance and i really like calm and soft dance
Both are good for me 😍😋
Main dancers 😮😮😮
Yeji 😊
Now you can see there is a gap between a kpop dancer and a real dancer
Yeji no 1 😘😍
Chaerji best
Ay me acuerdo que cuando era chiquita hacia esta coreo también sjsjsjsjs
People in these comments are annoying lmfao
An explanation tutorial plsssssss
QUEENS
Chaeryeong and yeji danced more effortlessly and they have better body and style so it looks better for me.
Plss nooo. I love itzy but u can't compare them with professional dancers Kaycee Rice and Bailey Sok HAHAHAHHA... Bailey sok literally creates choreography for Aespa and other Kpop groups. They dance as a living and they win competitions too. Also u can't say that yeji and chaeryeong did better when they just do a cover and didn't put much energy into it....
@@nishasagar2329 lmao u do know chaeryeong didn't train only dance right? Shes a kpop idol. She trained vocal, rap and other essential factors to make her a successful idol. Meanwhile kaycee Rice and Bailey sok started dancing professionally since they were 3 and 4 years old. They participated in and won a lot of competitions. They are what we call world wide professional dancers. Everyone in the dance community knows about kaycee and Bailey. You can't just compare itzy main dancers to professional dancers who are even better than itzy's dance teachers tbh lmao...also I do know what I'm talking about because I like itzy and I have also been following kaycee, Bailey, Maddie, Charlize glass, jojo gomez, Brian friedman and other prominent dancers who are respected by LOTS OF dancers in the world since forever. Chaeryeong is a professional idol. Kaycee and Bailey are professional dancers. There's a huge difference. Also it's quite insulting to say Chaeryeong and yeji are better than dancers who dance as a living and as their sole life purpose...
@@cantspellARMYwithoutRM The girls are good, but they were 15 and 14 when they danced that cover. Of course Chaeryeong did better.
purely objectively speaking, i feel like kaycee and bailey did better in these particular clips. while chaeryeong and yeji are incredible dancers as well, the others danced more powerful and controlled and also really went full out, which just makes is more impactful. also some little details and the timing were a bit better aswell, which makes sense because i assume the members learned the dance purely by watching this video, rather than being in the actual dance class. but then again, we also have to keep in mind that chaeryeong and yeji were just having fun doing a bunch of dances so when they would actually PERFORM this, they would probably do a lot better than in this particular video. so even though i do feel like kaycee and bailey did better here, it honestly doesn’t really matter and instead tearing anyone down, we should just celebrate these five incredible dancers!
better body ????? .........anyways.....
i am not mad at people saying which style they prefer. what really gets me going is people shading professional dancers because "they overdance". you do know that those are the people who choreograph your faves' dances most of the time, right?
on the other side it isn't an idol's duty to perform as good as a literal professional. they're trained to perform overall with vocals.
so a little bit more respect for both sides.
also forgot to mention that i have mad respect for chae and yeji for learning that type of choreo. it's important to expand your knowledge and learn different styles of dance. i'm sure that nika (the choreographer) would be really happy to see that their dance reached far enough for kpop idols to study and learn.
@@fluffyclouds4944 I’m sorry but they look extremely funny most of the time. I don’t even see why it has appeal they just look like they’re throwing themselves around, nothing being conveyed there for me apart from making me giggle.
@@aqsah14 I'm sorry you fail to get into the mood of dancing.
Watching them hypes me a lot and makes me wanna dance as well. The emotions they deliver are insane, their body control and the way they feel the music is amazing.
Maybe someday you'll understand dance but until then you shouldn't make fun of it at least.
Yeji and chae killed it but y'all gotta seriously learn the difference between an idol dancer and a pro dancer . Literally no point in comparing them . But yeji looked so cool doing this
AT first play the original dancers really are on another level but about Yeji chae and other dancer idols:
Yeji clearly is more than a idol with title of the main dancer! She is a top dancer amoung idols and She has a really high level of power, body control and understanding of the song she dances
@@Ginpachirah but that’s what we’re saying. People shouldn’t say the pros are at a higher level because they’re two completely different professions. Honestly, there’s no point on comparing them at all. No hate just trying to explain :)
True
@@alliushen the girls in the other video are literally around 14. If you are calling yeji and chae idols, you should call the other dancers middle school students who take dancing lessons. Just admit they are better in this sort of choreography. Each dancer is different. K-pop dancers do different styles of choreography. That’s all
Right
Keep in mind kaycee was FIFTEEN in this. No one is at her level broo. Bailey was 13 (almost 14) she´s a beaaast, especialy in hip hop and jaydn was also awesoome. Of courese yeji and chae slay too some of the best female dancers in the kpop industry. TBH kaycee really made this dance her own and stood out among all.
Its blows my mind that bailey is now choreographing so many kpop dances. Its really nice to see.
@@popsicle6375 yes! Especially for big artists like Taemin, aespa, and red velvet. Kaycee also choreographed for woo!ah! but I wish she made a coreography for a Lisa dance vid or a Jimin contemporary solo. Sean choreographed and dances with NCT127 (mark and taeyong). These 3 (bailey, sean and Kaycee) are my fav dancers and choreographers I with they had more credit and we're valued much more by people all around the globe.
@@alejandratovar1656 SAMEE those three plus Nicole too. They're such great dancers
YESS i love her smm
@@alejandratovar1656 omg if she did jimin contemporary solo bro that would be so lit i swear. and ME TOO i love sean, bailey, and kaycee. theyre the best
Comparing them to bailey and kaycee is an obvious set up lol
i think the op posted this without any bad intentions, it’s for ppl who are curious how it looks like side by side :))
Why people have to be so rude? They did a cover, don't need to compare.
EXACTLY👏👏👏 Some of these comments be harsh😅
YESSS
I LUV KAYCEE, BAILEY & YEJI, CHAERYONG ALSO DID IT AMAZINGLYY❤️🔥
People aren't being rude they are simply pointing out how being an idol requires an entirely different skill set to someone who's just a dancer. Dancers solely dance whereas idols have to sing and dance which means you have to "downgrade" your dancing skills to perform a song.
Also there’s a difference between professional dancers and idol dancers. Yeji and chaeryeong both trained focusing on dancing, singing, etc. meanwhile prof dancers can just focus on their dance.
@@Star_fish yes, people are being rude and bashing the dancers, you probably didnt read the comments I'm talking about or they got deleted, this was more than a week ago after all.
The fact that Chaeryoung did the bicycle step without supporting her torso was just killer. Like girl didn’t have to flex her core strength like that
bicycle step?
@@YN-wo8rd at 0:32
SHES LITERALLY THE BEST
Jesus chirst i didnt notice that
I love Chaeryeong's dancing. She added her own moves and that was so cool, but no one can do better than the original dancers.
her own moves where ? 👀 (no hate)
@@minticycream the beginning when she turned around. Also Yeji did a cart wheel
@@yourstrulyvira2173 it's not her own moves really, because (I guess you haven't seen the full original video) the Choreographer ( *Nika Kljun* ) does that move and other dancers do too...
@@minticycream Shut up.
@Moon Bae but they followed the trio's way
y'all calm down. i like yeji and chaerry a lot but it's obvious the other person did it better. and not y'all being biased and saying they were more "fluid" when they were a little sloppy. they weren't trying their best there and chaeryeji can themselves do better. try and be less biased pls :)
True!!!!
@@zhangjisbiglonglegs as long as you're not biased I mean, some people were talking about expressions when the other dancer had more expressions than chaeryeji bc they were just doing it for fun, it isn't that deep but people have to be biased lmao
But why compare at all in the first place? This is a video showing the beauty of the dance community spreading, not a competition.
Professionals dance the song while idols plays with it
I think the isolations were just better with Kaycee’s side. You can tell because chaeryeji were moving their feet to perform the move. But they have different backgrounds and styles so I understand why people would prefer either one.
I feel like we don’t see this chae on the stage , she’s so charismatic and relaxed , I feel like she gets shy on stage and she tries to “look like an idol “ she doesn’t have to she is SO captivating when relaxed , I always notice that when watching her dance videos in the studio like this
fr I need moree of this chaeryeong
I think it's cause she really vibes with more sensual sexy dances but Itzy so far has been more on the powerful rebels side of choreos and she doesn't get to show off that much.
@@mordecaiissad8529 yea makes sense
It’s likely because of all the hate she gets for ‘not being pretty enough’ to be an idol so she feels like she has to overcompensate which is really sad
yeji so fast and powerfull
Some of you'll are really biased towards ur favs . Even tho someone did a better job then ur favs still you'll will never accept that 🙄 I also like itzy and i love all the members , they are so talented , but there are more people who are talented so atleast appreciate them , it won't harm you or your favs.
I'm a midzy but i must say that Kaycee is just unbeatable. I mean just look at the way she moves her body her control is amazing.
Kaycee is unbeatable just in hip hop.
@@lagrisblink lol then you don't know kaycee
@@hmlmprvls5584 Ballet ?🤭 lol
@@lagrisblink
goodbye dont do kaycee, she is a good dancer in lots of other genres
Obviously you can't compare kpop dancers to professional dancers, but I think they each have their unique skills. Yeji and Chaeryeong are really in sync with each other because they are trained to dance together in as group, and their dancing blends really well. Whereas Bailey and Kaycee are really good at the details and powerful performances.
the girls in the other video are literally around 14. If you are calling yeji and chae idols, you should call the other dancers middle school students who take dancing lessons. Just admit they are better in this sort of choreography. Each dancer is different. K-pop dancers do different styles of choreography. That’s all
@@blueberrysponge42yeah they better because they are professional dancer The idea of comparing professional dancers with kpop idols is stupid K-pop idols need to practice singing and facial expressions on stage and controlling the singing voice during dancing Therefore, it is not strange that they are not on the same level as professional dancers.
those two bailey and kaycee are absolutely the greatest younger generation of dancers out there, bailey even choreographed some kpop songs like shinees, nct, red velvet.
omg and she was a backup dancer for kai's peaches
@@beerroots3619 who? bailey????
@@potato6802 yup! It’s rlly impressive how far she’s come

CHAERYOUNG PROVING HER TALENT
MEANWHILE MY REACTION TO HER AS HER FAN SINCE DEBUT: she's more than good she's perfection
Kaycee and Bailey are just wow!!
I can't believe they are just now teenagers and 5-6 yrs ago they were 11-12 yrs old wonderful kids which so good with their moves would satisfy and they are like in different when it comes to apperance tge moves hit you hard !!
for those hating on chaerji, let me remind you that THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL COVER!! this clip is from their vlive and they were just having fun & practicing it so that’s why they’re not putting all of their energy into it.
I think no one is hating on them so far but rather pointing out how bias their fans are. Anyway don't come at me I'm not in the mood to argue
@@tomorichan45 this. Literally no one is hating on them. Like you just said, they're pointing out how biased their fans are. And talking about the difference btw Pro dancers and Idol dancers...
Well the ones on the left simply attended the class and learned the choreography in about an hour, then performed it.
Yeji so cool. She can vocal, rap, dance and leader. Stage presence perfect. She is beautiful, talented and very sexy
Chaeryeong is such a great dancer
Wow yeji
Kaycee always eats up her dances. Been watching her for years. Even tho she’s so young, she’s so talented
There's a difference.
why is nobody talking abt Yeji? her dancing is so smooth and she did tricks tooo
I am here.
where shall I start?
No one is better than Kaycee!!
Obviously the dancers are better u all are sayimg other wise cuz u are biased
No words other than CHAEEEEEEEEEEEEE
For real this girl makes me embody that "wow you can really dance" meme
idk why ppl lie and pretend the idols are matching up to a real dancer... idols aim to be a good in each category they need but they arnt aiming to base their personality on dancing.. we have to be honest clearly the actual dancer is 2000 x better from details to musicality etc but that doesnt mean idols are bad they just arnt as experienced in one feild but the idols will out preform a dancer in a mixture of things stage presence/singing while dancing plus more etc
true. dancing is the only thing that professional dancers have to master. while idols have to master dancing, rapping, singing, facial expression, stability and still have to remain pretty. no idols can give it all to a dance so even if kpop industry have someone who is able to do this, they would have this idol pressure and unable to do this style of dancing
Yeji with the smooth ass somersault fuck yea! Idols are as graceful as the dancers are powerful. Amazing dynamic to watch. Both groups killed it. All my favs in 1 video - Bailey Kaycee Yeji and Chaeryeong
I was in Kaycee fandom few years ago, left it and a year ago became a K-pop Stan. So seeing this video just blows my mind. I was also impressed by Bailey's choreo used for aespa's Savage. Our life is so interesting
this isn’t a competition. as someone who’s been a fan of kaycee and bailey since before i stanned kpop there’s no need for any of this. i don’t think it’s what the video creator intended but y’all in the comments do way too much.
That is my fav Nikla Kjun choreo 😍. I like how Chae did the hip movement at the beggining, mad cool
ofc no one can do better than the original like the original are professional dancers and their style are completely different but chaeryeong and yeji did sooooo well in their own style
Yeji did do well she even added some stems that weren’t in the dance she also has a lot of energy throughout the whole cover
why is everyone fighting over who did better between yeji and chaeryeong ..? not only do they both have different styles but they literally did it for fun it’s not that serious
chaeryeong is honestly one of my fav dancers in the 4th gen. she's so clean and fluid
For me yeji killed this!
Yes
The fact Chaeryeong didn’t use anything to support her torso when doing to leg step was amazing
exactly!!! she’s insane
