Mods can keep a good game going for years. Half-Life got modded into CounterStrike, which was kept alive for years with the ability to add new maps and mod player or weapon models and everybody got to choose what they saw on their end. Personally, I would love to play PUBG but in a map from a different game. Imagine a full match in a map from Grand Theft Auto, or Read Dead Revolver, or Forza Horizon 4 or 5. Millions of players are familiar with those maps and would know their way around.

4:00 IDK why Bethesda wouldnt immediately hire the top 10 modders for fallout 4 when they were making starfield. Modders are your golden goose.

Some of my best Battlefield memories are from the mods available to BF:1942 and BF2. I probably spent almost as much time playing Eve of Destruction (better than BF: Vietnam), Battlegroup42, and AIX2. The bots in AIX2 could drive and fly; imagine PUBG with high IQ bots.

mods are game saviors, skyrim is the best example, it still has thousands of players even nw after 14 years and its getting new content constantly

Mods would definitely do alot for pubg! I personally want to see Bluebomb come back along with other game modes from Arcade and have more options that are there to stay
